we were shitting ourselves when he went off to play for korea.
give him a chance, he'll come good again.
john gibson in the chronicle this afternoon;
"John Carver has talked of playing two up top in an effort to score goals, tactically be more direct to grind out points, and just about every other possibility known to man or beast. They are the ramblings of a drowning desperado."

It's funny but he looked like a downgrade on Longstaff today, maybe just lacking proper match practice.

No I think that’s how he was pretty much beforehand. Doesn’t waste possession and passes well but Longstaff is basically exactly the same thing except much faster, more agile and bags more stamina.

It’s not a hard one to work out.

Can’t compare him to Diame or Shelvey for that matter, totally different style of players.

Thought he was very poor today, gave the ball away so many times and didn't contribute aside from that shot in either attack or defense.

very poor harsh imo, but didn't use the ball as well as he can
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

Agree with this. Very poor in possession today and gave it away very cheaply.
Not his best by a long way. Our midfield needs major investment.
'Us' = Stenhousemuir for the forseeable.

There will be a reason Rafa starts him and kept him on the pitch for the entire game today.

thought he's just never looked as dynamic since he came back from Asia. Thought he was ace before that.
