Got schooled on that header by a kid. Rafa will show him the footage no doubt, and tell him to get his s*** together on set pieces.

Don’t think our defenders should be getting flak they’ve only conceded 1 open play goal in the last 4 games
Totally unrealistic to expect 0 mistakes.

Both Schar and Lejuene have been outstanding for us when you look at the bigger picture and how much they cost.

How many goals have been conceded at set pieces though over the season (the worst in the Premier) even gainst Burnley there was two occasions when they could and probably should have scored. For three big lads they really hould be dominating set pieces. Maybe it's the coaching but it's certainly a problem.

He didn't have to try very hard, though.

It wasn't just "beaten in the air thought." Rice ran rings around him before the corner was even taken, and Schar lost him, plain and simple. After he lost his man, it wasn't an issue about beating him in the air, it was essentially a free header.

But all good, I love our defence so far. We just need to buckle up on set pieces.

Aye but his p*ss poor defending against West Ham for the goal cancels out that goal and the rest of his other excellent performances this season. He's now awful. Send him packing with Almiron.

Hope they factor in that school boy defending at West Ham when coming up with their offers.

I hope you all factor in the money going directly into Mike Ashley's pocket when wondering how much 'we'd' get for him.

Banned for the next 2 apparently. 10 yellows. :(

He absolutely loves a needless booking.

Thought his pass to Ayoze in the first half was lush

Nothing wrong with Fernandez coming in for him but I would be slightly tempted to pull Hayden back into the CB role and give Ki and Shelvey a go in midfield, as Hayden seems in such good form whereas Fernandez hasn't had much game time.

(It's also fairly likely Benitez will revert to 4 at the back with Lejeune and Lascelles as only CBs

Not a bad shout actually.

I still say one of Hayden's best performances for us was that Man City game where he was constantly swapping between CB and CM. Looked absolutely seamless when he did it and made us a bit less predictable.
