'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'
I didn't think this was worthy of the hype. It was okay.

'The Girl In The Spider's Web'
This didn't get great reviews but I enjoyed it. It was entertaining.

'First Man'
An interesting watch but very dry.
Thier is not a word. "Their" is the correct spelling.

Win, Lose or Draw. NOT "Loose"!

Thought that new Ted Bundy film was a bit of a mess.

Does that matter to you Ian? Because Avengers: Endgame has been met with universal critical acclaim yet it's for children and idiots?

Doesn’t necessarily matter to me, no. I generally can tell the sort of thing I’ll be into. But when I’m choosing to watch something I’m not sure about I might take a look.

Hadn't realised it was made by the same bloke too, think if I hadn't watched the documentary it'd have been even stranger tbh. I don't know if the whole point was for it to be from the perspective of Liz, but either way Bundy was so one dimensional and there wasnt a single sequence where I thought Effron nailed it. Even when they recreated actual interviews he didn't seem much like Bundy at all to me.

Lily Collins is an absolute dream mind.

Halloween (2018 version). Good set up, thought the ending was excellent. It's not that scary but it's well made and overall it's enjoyable.

Watched Stan & Ollie.
Good performances all round, but the actor who plays Stan's Russian wife steals the show.

Watched Us last night. A bit unfortunate that it's going to be compared to Get Out, because it doesn't hold a candle. Wasn't really sure what to make of it, was a bit weird. The twist ending was coming a mile off and didn't make that much sense in the context of the wider story; it just seemed like a convenient 'shock' which, as a result, wasn't particularly shocking. I didn't really understand the allegory either.

Ah well, was alright. Nyong'o is incredible to look at. So striking.

A Quiet Place. Thought it was brilliant. Very tense and original. Some logic holes, you can think about, after it ends, but in the moment - it's thrilling.

Flight of the Phoenix. A decent watch.

John Wick 3. Another very good entry into the series. Action was incredible throughout. Started strong and ended strong. Little bit of a bloated middle (it's probably 15-20 mins too long) but this series keeps on delivering.
