  1. The game has moved on since the majority of those were at their peak.
  2. Cant see why we'd sign Ramsdale tbh. He's not better than Pope.
  3. His comments are spot on. He'll want to be at his best for the England camp. Players like Trippier don't just prepare for a game the day before, they'll be eating right, sleeping well and focusing on what's coming up. Jetting to the other side of the world for two end of season friendlies the players will get absolutely nothing from is exactly what he says it is - far from ideal.
  4. Thought that Spurs game might have been his breakthrough performance but aside from that, its been decidedly average. I know he's still young, but he's made 50 appearances for us now, albeit not that many starts. He'll have to start showing something more sooner rather than later.
  5. He's either injured again - meaning he's missed 17 out of 23 games since the turn of the year. Or he's took a huff and he's ruled himself out of two of the most important games of the season. Either way, he's too unreliable.
  6. Wonder if he'd fancy it. Having been at Bournemouth and then signed under Ashley, he's probably not made all that much money for an England international.
  7. Fabinho and Casemiro have have both won leagues and CL's. Both with a way bigger reputation than Wilson. Which is essentially what matters most - their footballing abilities come second. The fee they paid for ASM, you could easily see another club paying. Nobody else is paying £20m for Wilson. They might pay it like, maybe having a recent England international is a coup worth the 20m. I don't actually think they will though and if they do, it's still mental.
  8. 20m for Wilson is mental like. 11 starts in all comps this season. 33 soon. Guess the Saudi league might get two years out of him.
  9. He wouldn't give up the money he's owed on his contract. Has another few years.
  10. Last 3 games we've won, we've played with 3 different formations and game plans. 5 at the back V Spurs, usual 433 at home v Sheff Utd and 442 today. Nailed it each time. Brilliant coach like, unreal how he can implement ideas so quickly.
  11. Thought Hall, Burn and Murphy were really good today. Burns tackle in particular at 0-0 was massive. Once we went 1-0 up Longstaff and Bruno were in control. Actually think Krafth is a better centre half than full back. Though Livramento was a bit off it today, not as solid defensively and a lack of cutting edge going forward. Hey ho. Burnley are shite, and 4-4-2 was the right choice today by Howe, as they couldn't cope with us in the final third. Don't want to see us playing it against a better team though, Longstaff and Bruno don't have the legs for a two.
