Best to escape the stench of a Lakers title thread. Very interested to see what Morey does in Philly.
-
Season staring on Dec 22nd.
Also this had the potential to have the most punchable backcourt since Mark Jackson/Reggie Miller.
-
Ah god here we go.
-
Ah god here we go.
Hey, at least he’s not coming to us, I was worried with the Leon Rose connection
-
 Are we s****, like? I no longer know anything.
-
 Are we s****, like? I no longer know anything.
Very much so.
-
 There any reason in particular to be s****, someone big in college/overseas or are we doing that thing where we're s**** a few years before it'd be beneficial to be awful, and then make the 8 seed when a God is in the amateurs?
-
Draft this year is pretty trash so you picked a good year to avoid using your lottery luck.
Might want to freeze the envelopes for next year though.
-
Who's coming out next year? There a Lebron in the pipeline?
-
Aye, no one can seem to agree on who the best players are in the draft this year so we’re in a good spot at 8. Next year is stacked by all accounts. Luckily we’ll be no where near the 8th seed either
-

The draft nerds are getting wet over Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green.

Think Wiseman was being hyped up as the guy this draft, but he got ruled ineligible for the year after like 4 games so he's a big question mark.

Yeah I remember watching his first game as he was being billed as the number #1. The two draft express guys on Zach Lowe’s pod were saying that Lamelo was the best player which is wildly different from a few others I listened too.

Wiseman did look like a made for 2020 Dwight Howard in the little bits we saw of him, but it's always hard to gauge when you've got a stud prospect lined up against a bunch of accounting majors from Whodafuckareyou State in November.
I watched LaMelo a couple of times in person for a laugh during the NBL season - was really not convinced. The entire gameplan was built around him touching the ball as much as he wanted and he was inefficient as hell putting up his stats. Illawarra also finished dead last, a position they occupied even before he quit halfway through the season.
-
Chris Paul to Phoenix
-
Oubre going the other way
-
Great trade. Phoenix are going to be a problem.
-
Presti getting out from under the Russ and Paul contracts in the space of a season is some impressive GM’ing and that’s before you look at the picks he got.
-
Yeah, they have an incredible haul of picks. It was a great trade for both parties.
OKC can now build around SGA, and still have some players they can either keep or flip still as there would be interest in the likes of Rubio, Oubre and Adams. They can sign and trade Gallinari too I believe.
-
Bucks gave up a lot for Jrue but they haven’t much choice with Giannis a FA next year. Bogdanovic is a nice player, I watched a lot of the Kings and he always stood out.
-
Rookie question - is there a really straightforward guide to how trades and salary caps work in the NBA?
-
Haven’t a clue myself
Basically you need the salary going out in the trade to match the salary coming in. The cap stops you signing free agents that would push your salary above it but doesn’t really affect your trades. Loads of teams are over the salary cap and they just pay a luxury tax as a consequence.
-
Getting Holiday and Bogdanovic is fantastic for Giannis really. Chuffed for him. Big upgrades at the guard positions.
-
This Harden to the Nets talk is so crazy to me.
No chance a Harden, Kyrie and Durant trio works, surely?!
Harden and Kyrie don't defend for starters and there's only one ball to go around for goodness sake.
Don't like the move.
-
Blazers with a really nice pickup in Covington. Love that move for them. Sent Ariza and 2 first rounders over to Houston.
Jordan wants Westbrook at the Hornets. Think that would be a decent move. They're a young, scrappy team that had a decent season last year. Westbrook can be the main man there and have a decent young supporting cast. Think that's the best he can hope for going forward. He doesn't gel well with other top players IMO. A bit like Iverson back in the day, just surround him with complementary, hard nosed defensive minded players that can hit some shots.
-

It seems like its the NFL that only actually has a hard salary cap, all the others seem to be able to just pay what the want really.
-
Aye there’s plenty of ways to get around it. Like you can go over the cap if you’re resigning your own player so you’ll see teams waiting to officially sign players after they’ve agreed terms on the contracts.
-
After what we got for Jrue i don't see why Houston would accept Brooklyn's scraps for Harden.
Which puts Philly in a strong position if they really want to.
-
Horford to OKC for Danny Green and ANOTHER 1st
-
I see the Knicks are doing a very Knicks thing with their draft.
-
Pistons making moves for future is such a good sight. Took way too long but at least we're doing it.
-
I see the Knicks are doing a very Knicks thing with their draft.
Probably the suckiest draft since 2013... so better trade up the board fam.
-
Malika Andrews :kurt:
-
Think we done f***ed up.
-
Most of the draft obsessives seem to think we've made a good pick.
Can't say i know anything about any of the players in the draft though

Sad to see a pregnant Swin Cash in your draft room.
-
So many Nigerians in this draft. I am taking my boy to the court tomorrow.
Everyone says the Toppin boy reminds them of Amare, hopefully with knees. Seems a good pick for New York.
-
Over/under how many practices before Jordan makes Lamelo cry?
-
Klay :jesuswept:
That cursed monkey paw is really wreaking it's revenge on Golden State.
-
Klay :jesuswept:

:( Literally the last guy you want to see get injured. Such a nice guy. Love that interview he did where he was stopped on the street in New York to talk about the scaffolding everywhere. He gave his opinions on the structural integrity of the scaffolding. The reporter had no idea who he was.
We had a brilliant run.
-
Troy Weaver just dealing for the sake of dealing
-
Pelicans got Steven Adams man. Very nice upgrade from Derrick Favours.
Lakers getting Harrell was very nice too. Having a really good off season themselves.
-
Clippers resigning the bad Morris twin for 4 years
Knicks yet to make a stupid deal, could this be the dawn of a new era?
-
Think Clippers panicked after Harrell switched to the Lakers. Terrible deal to give Morris that.
John Wall has asked out of Washington. He's looked good and healthy in workouts coming off the injury, and seems to have re-worked his jumper.
Would you take him at the Knicks? Or Westbrook?
-
Wall absolutely no way. Maybe Russ, although if RJ is who we think he can be then Russ may hamper that progress but I’d enjoy watching him for at least half a season before I went crazy. Think we should keep our cap free and try do what OKC are doing and take on some bad contracts in exchange for picks.
-
Gonna say it, there's way worse fits for Russ than the Wizards.
Not saying it should happen but it isn't an awful on court fit.
-
Think Adams is finished Moley, not sure what the thinking was there.
-
I'll happily see Wall get injured again somewhere else.
-
By all accounts the guy you drafted is the real deal.
-
Think Adams is finished Moley, not sure what the thinking was there.
Have no idea as i don't really watch OKC but I'm gonna assume he will be better than Favors was for us.
Also he's a Expiring, so if he sucks it's not a major problem.
-
Big number for Hayward but I suppose what other free agents do Charlotte have a shot at.
-
Suns sign Jae Crowder.
Such a great addition for them. Adding Crowder and Paul to that group is so great.
Happy for Booker.
-
So apparently Danny Ainge messed up.
Hayward wanted to go to Indy and has already moved his family back there and everything.
Indy offered Turner and McDermott in a sign and trade, and Ainge was insisting on Turner and TJ Warren or Oladipo.
Jordan swooped in during the stalemate and essentially offered Hayward a deal he couldn't really refuse.
Really bad for Boston, as I think Turner would have been a really interesting piece to add for them. Now they're left with nothing.
-
It's s*** that we got nothing for him but there's no way to know we weren't close to a deal with Indiana before Charlotte came in for him.
4/120 is ridiculous for Hayward at 30 and after the injuries he's had btw
-
The idea of Turner is better than the reality.
They're much better off with Tristan Thompson.
-
Think Adams is finished Moley, not sure what the thinking was there.
I wouldn't say he's finished - his stats last year are in line with the rest of his career when you adjust for the less minutes.
But that is and always was problem - he was a high floor, low ceiling guy. If you need him get you 8 boards, he will give you 10 boards, if you need him to dominate the glass and get you 20, he will get you 10. Just doesn't have the drive like his sister does.
-
The idea of Turner is better than the reality.
They're much better off with Tristan Thompson.
Yeah, he's not perfect, but he could have been had and Thompson can't be.
Turner is still really young, and working within Brad Stephen's system I could easily see him doing better and improving going forward.
*Never mind! Just realised that Thompson was a free agent and they have indeed signed him. That's a great deal for them, as he's much better defensively, particularly when switching onto guards. Nice move.
Wonder if they could have had both Thompson and then Turner through the sign and trade. That would have been amazing.
-

His stats are decent enough at around 13 and 10 the seasons he plays at least 30 mins.
But with him it's not really about stats. He brings a ton of toughness and is a really good defender. He also sets the best picks in the league by far. The guy just does all the important things that add a lot of value, and is a very unselfish player and so a great character addition too.
Amazing that he's only just 27 years old too. Really liked the move, personally.
-
Clippers get Serge Ibaka! Big bounce back after losing Harrell to the Lakers.
Love this signing, and think he's a better fit than Harrell for them, as he's more versatile defensively and is a far superior shooter from the free throw line and three.
Ibaka, Morris, Kawhi and George in the same 5 is very handy defensively. Good stuff.
Man, this coming season is going to be interesting.
-
In other news ...
The Knicks have signed Elfrid Payton and Nerlens Noel.
-
1 year deals that will be easily flipped for assets at the trade deadline. Well maybe not Payton because he’s doo doo
-
I know man, was just messing with you.
-
So Harrell took less money than offered elsewhere to join the Lakers, because of course ... he is a client of Klutch sports.
Anyone find this whole LeBron and Klutch thing a bit weird, and how it can be used to gain an unfair advantage?
-
Rich Paul won him a championship by getting AD to him. It’s dodgy as f*** the whole thing I’m actually surprised that Thompson went to the Celtics due to their lack of relationship with Klutch.
-
Yes, of course! Boston had the assets NO were after to swing that AD trade, but he refused to go there due to this whole nonsense.
Yeah man, I think it's outrageous really. I mean ... it's so difficult to have any respect for LeBron's accomplishments because he's always manipulating things in some way.
No idea how this whole thing is allowed.
-
Serge to link back up with Kawhi at the clippers apparently

-
Bit of the Bonillas.
-
Trading cheap Robin Lopez and replacing him with that was a highlight of Phil and Mills’ time.
-
Something, something, first round pick, something, something.
-
Wow. Read somewhere that Beal was the one pushing for the deal behind the scenes, and so if that's indeed the case then keeping him happy this way is a good move. Russ also joins up with his previous coach who will know him well, so that will be good.
Ultimately I think it makes Washington better, as Russ is far more durable. Solid move all things considered IMO. Really like the Rookie from Israel that the Wizards drafted too. Rui and Bryant should continue to improve also. Managed to keep Bertans as well.
Think Washington are in good shape and should be competitive in the East for sure.
-
Washington Wizards might have hit a home run with Deni Avdija. Really liked the look of him last night. He is huge and very skilled with the ball. Showed a lot yesterday. Ball handling, running the offense, hit shots, posted up and passed it very confidently.
Rui Hachimura also looked really good too and particularly much improved and comfortable shooting the three. He is very powerful physically. Washington are in very very good shape. They will make noise in the East this season.
Also loving Tyrese Haliburton for the Kings. Looks a classic high IQ point guard. My favourite type of player.
-
We're the best pre season team of all time tbh.
-
Think the Knicks got a steal with the point guard they picked up later in the first round, Immanuel Quickley. I like the look of him a lot. Think they're going to love him in the Garden.
Season starts tonight too. Doesn't feel like it though. Going to be interesting to see how the games come across. All seems a bit underwhelming at the minute.
-
Season starts tonight too.
f***'s sake.
-
People are gonna think I'm overreacting but Clippers on paper should be better than last year.
Ibaka is actually going to defend the rim, Batum should be better than any non PG, Kawhi wing they had and Kennard is better than Shamet.
Still don't have a point guard but their roster makes so much more sense on paper than it did a year ago.
-
Clippers threw away the WCS, they’ll be great again this year with a better coach and team.
-
Nets have an unfair advantage not having to get accustomed to playing in front of no one.
-

They looked good and actually seemed to be running some interesting sets.
Ty Lue had been talking about using some of the Triangle offense to put Kawhi in those post setups Jordan and Kobe excelled in, and I thought it looked really good.
Batum was a good addition just for his size and agility. Looked effective against both LeBron and AD defensively. Tend to forget how big he is. Also handles the ball so well and passes it well too, finished with 6 assists.
-
Nets would be crazy to trade for Harden IMO.
Have such a versatile and deep supporting cast that fits so well around Kyrie and Durant.
Leave well alone!
-
f***'s sake. Howay the f***ing Knicks. Christ. f***ing kill me already.
-
Ain’t no stoppin Obi Toppin!
-
Eldfrid Payton is a disgraceful excuse of an basketball player.
-
Eldfrid Payton is a disgraceful excuse of an basketball player.
You guys really should have picked up a veteran guard that can shoot. He's so basic offensively.
RJ has looked really good and has definitely improved which is a great sign. You guys looked good early on, just need to get Quickley in there pronto.
-
Giannis is cringeworthy a lot of the times. This man has not developed enough of an offensive skillset.
He has at least 4 offensive fouls this game barrelling into the lane like a bull in a china shop, trying to euro step every time. Painful to watch.
-
Tatum and Brown are something else man. Every time I see them they look better and better. Yikes.
-
We won a NBA basketball game and played defence.
I need a few weeks to process this information.
-
Caught a bit of your game.
Team looked nicely balanced and is so physically gifted at every position. You guys are well on your way.
-
League feels super balanced atm, there are like 16 teams with duos who are elite.
-
Looking at the schedule today, it's such a shame Klay and Draymond is injured.
Because the games are pretty awesome and it's a shame that one will be a blowout.
-
Bledsoe is the one thing that ruins this Pelicans team. Really thought he'd be moved on.
Surprised he is being used as a starter. They need another shooter in that starting 5 and he is so unreliable.
-
Bledsoe can't even make a floater from 2 ft away from the hoop ... smh.
-
They might want to try defending the 3 at some point too
-
Yeah, their defence needs some work for sure.
Team has so much potential though. Ingram and Williamson are a heck of a young duo.
I really don't like Bledsoe though. He can be so bloody awful on offense. So tough to watch.
-
BKN vs BOS is going to be s*** hot, unfortunately. Howay....covid.
-
Bledsoe is a mess, completely agree with that
Think Brooklyn will get the better of us tbh because KD is just unstoppable. Should be a fun game though
-
Going to be an interesting matchup. You lot looked good against the Bucks.
Jeff Teague was a fantastic addition, as was Tristan. Once Kemba comes back it's going to be something else.
-
Ingram is absolutely outrageous. Can't believe this man's improvement. Wow.
-
Bledsoe is now throwing the ball away every time down the floor
This man has lost the plot
-
Dragic is great. Love this Miami team

He's really underrated honestly, people disrespected that signing purely because he's been languishing for a sorry ass Cavs team.

I hate seeing the Warriors like this man. It sucks.
Provided Klay and Green come back okay, shouldn't be for more than this year.
Wiseman should really get a chance to develop in the meantime too, and he looks good.
-
Yea, Wiseman looks good so far

You're right of course, but they look absolutely inept right now. Will be interesting to see how much they improve with Green back, but I honestly wrote this season off as soon as Klay went down with the Achilles. I'd be happy with a playoff berth, and some good experience for some of the young 'uns.
-
KD is so filthy man ...
-
KD is a cheat code
-
Kyrie is actually trying on defence, if that holds this team is gonna be real tough to look past.
-
Yeah, Kyrie seems dialled in all the way.
-
Think Tatum can sometimes fall in love with the step back jumpers a bit too much.
Needs to try and get to the hole a bit more often, especially when Boston really needs a bucket.
-
Early days but I really like what Tristan Thompson gives us
Always liked TT. There’s a reason Lebron wanted him around. He has a very particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a long career. Used properly, and with the right pieces around him, he can be bloody effective.
-
Kyrie, stop it!
-
It's nice to watch Kyrie actually focus on basketball again.
What a insane talent.
-
KD and Kyrie were just silly that game
-
Celtics window shut, tbh. :yao:
-
Jesus Christ this is a lifetime of Jalen.
-
Looks like the old Nicolas Batum is back.
What a signing that could turn out to be for the Clippers. Incredible.
-
WTF? Mavs up 62-20 against the Clippers with 5 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter.
-
77-27 at half
Kawhi is the MVP
-
:kasper:
That is a damn disgrace!
-
Seems to be going under the radar a bit, but Anthony Edwards looks fantastic too.
Plays at a great tempo and is very under control. Has a really nice skillset scoring the ball.
-
Kawhi must be good
-
Pretty sure these won't all stay the same but as it stands Hornets over Nets, Cavs over 6ers, Knicks over Bucks. Madness
-
Some real weird results tonight lol, glad we're not one of them.
-
How are the Knicks doing @Mike
-
Can’t work out if we’re decent or if everyone we’ve played is actually trash. No way we should be 3-0.
-
The f*** is this s***.
-
Can’t work out if we’re decent or if everyone we’ve played is actually trash. No way we should be 3-0.
I think you might be pretty decent
You've pretty much done well so far without your best player Kevin Love even doing anything yet.
Your 2 young guards Garland and Sexton are playing very well and have been incredibly efficient.
Also love your rookie Okoro, he is tough as nails, and he was even out today.
-
Pretty sure these won't all stay the same but as it stands Hornets over Nets, Cavs over 6ers, Knicks over Bucks. Madness
All stayed the same

Yeah, I love the coach and Sexton has really stepped up, plus Drummond has been engaged and balling. It’s the fact that as well as Okoro and Love not playing much there are a couple of other guys out. I was expecting us to really struggle first half of the season.
-
It's been interesting. Looking at your team it's actually got some decent depth to it.
McGee and Nance backing up Love and Drummond is not bad at all. Also have Cedi coming of the bench with Exum, and eventually Delladova too.
Just remembered your other young guy from last year hasn't even featured yet, Porter Jr., and although he seems to be a bit of a nutter, he can play and had a very respectable rookie year I thought.
-
Kelly Oubre is now 0 for 17 from three this season after 3 games :o
-
Magic are 3-0 ... someone check on Flip.
 Markelle looking goooood
-

Really happy for Fultz man.
Your rookie, Cole Anthony, is a nice spark plug off the bench too.
All this without Jonathan Isaac also, who I hope comes back strong.
-
Dinwiddie out for the season for the Nets ...
-
Hope Ja is alright too.
-
Payton Pritchard is really decent. Does not look like a rookie out there. Already playing key minutes for Boston.
-
Not seen a single Wizards game but I'm dead at this.

4-0.
-
We need to decide what our goals are.
Do we want to make the playoffs? Then we need to shorten the rotation.
Do we want to develop the kids? Then actually play them and live with the results.
Last night illustrated what the issues are, we have no bench because of the Jrue trade and also because of the Jrue trade we only have one guy who can create off the dribble.
We were up 1 when the starters left and when they came back we were down 13 lol.
Kira Lewis and NAW have the potential to be those guys but if we want to make the playoffs obviously they need to develop faster than probably it's realistic to expect.
-
Switch out Bledsoe for Hart in the starting lineup and you'd be so much better.
Bledsoe can then take on more responsibility running the offense for the second unit and surround him with shooters in Redick and Melinelli as well as a great lob man in Hayes.
Bledsoe at the moment seems to be getting in the way in the starting lineup. He can't shoot and he doesn't have the ball enough to drive and kick. He is playing badly and is negatively affecting Lonzo as well, as they are both trying to do the same things without having enough of the ball to do so. It's weird.
Genuinely cannot believe how much he is playing. Thought the trade of Jrue was really about getting picks and he was just thrown in to make it work, and he would be moved on.
-
JB MVP
-
The heck is up with the Wiz?!
They are 0 - 5 now.
-
Why am I watching this.
-
If the Rockets stay healthy and Harden doesn't leave they have a very nice collection of players, and could be a nuisance big time.
-
The heck is up with the Wiz?!
They are 0 - 5 now.
Westbrooks going to average a 20-15-15 while winning 14 games.

This rookie class looks like it was slept on big time.
Wasn’t he taken third overall?
-
was ready to come here and say you don't get to miss 11 free throws and win the game.
But Bledsoe came up with some big plays, thank f***.

Yeah but there were misgivings about pretty much all of the rookies this year, including the top 3 picks.
-
It's almost like because of a pandemic people had limited time to scout/watch prospects leading to a somewhat questionable drafting process.
-
Not really though. They start talking about the next class right after the previous draft.
From middle of 2019 they were already saying this draft didn't really project to have any stand out talents. Looking like that was wrong.
The 2021 draft on the other hand has been hyped up from even early 2020 with guys like Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green being hyped for ages now.
-
Some performance from Curry last night. Wiseman is looking like a hell of a promising player.
-
Nothing in the world like watching Curry or Klay when they heat up shooting the ball. Fantastic stuff.
-
What the f***, are we good? Must be someone good in the draft.
-

Amazing what an actual head coach can do to a team.
-
Mad how many games there are. Steph Curry just scored 92 points in 2 days
-
This is a reduced season too  They only got rid of the 3games in 3 nights a few years back.
-
We really need to get rid of the 2 big starting line up, hopefully after how clear it was yesterday how much better we are with more spacing we will.
JB & JT both continuing to progress really well this year. Really liking how Payton Pritchard is playing too, some nice numbers for him yesterday
-

I find it amazing how quickly people write Steph off, as if he isn't a once in a generation player who changed the whole face of the game.
Still don't expect too much from this season. We've shown a bit of promise in the last two games, but I'd be pretty happy with a playoff berth, given how f***ing crazy the West is. With Klay back next year however...
-
I’ve followed basketball since 2015 when I had a bout of insomnia and I followed the warriors fairly closely as I absolutely loved Steph and Klay’s game. I will never call myself a fan of the warriors as I’d be jumping on the bandwagon but I love to see Steph doing well as it’s just pure joy seeing him sink 3s. I have a slight soft spot for the Sacramento Kings too as they’re pretty rubbish, big fan of De’Aaron Fox
-
The criticism of Steph should have ended when they swept the Blazers without KD in the conference finals with him averaging over 30.
But the idiots that are criticising him have been waiting for years so I'm not surprised.
-

Knickerbockers to win the NBA during the COVID season, complete with a huge f*** off asterisk next to their name.
-

Yeah. Just ridiculous, considering that the whole game of basketball changed with him. And he's still the greatest shooter of all time by some distance. That 2016 MVP was just f***ing absurd.

HOly s*** that was 2016>!?
-
Ok i feel very old now.
-
Thibs for COY.
-
Lamelo youngest ever to record a triple double.
Kid is playing incredibly well and has so much flair to his game. Fun to watch.
-
Kyrie is a disaster.
-
Fascinating to see how the whole thing plays out as they are enabling this terrible behaviour completely.
I know for sure he's only going to get more insufferable with them letting all this slide. Never seen anything like this from a grown man. Crazy stuff.
-
Harden to the Nets?
-
Recipe for disaster  what bunch of fruitcakes.
-
As good as it sounds on paper it’s going to be a mess isn’t it
-
Yea I can see Kyrie being put out by this.
-
Yea I can see Kyrie being put out by this.
Is he still a flat earther?
-
Yea I can see Kyrie being put out by this.
You mean the guy who.disappeared for a week without telling everyone to party with Drake in Toronto and break every NBA Covid regulation?
If anything, they should be including him in the trade. Does he have a no trade clause?
-
Outside of the potential of the picks it seems like a bad deal for Houston tbh.
Oladipo is a rental and the others aren't gonna contribute anything.
-
I just want to see ...
Larry Nance at Point Guard
Kevin Love at Shooting Guard
Javale McGee at Small Forward
Jarrett Allen at Power Forward
Andre Drummond at Center
-
Oladipo is a nice fit in the current Houston team and keeps them interesting at least.
Also really like the Levert fit in Indiana too. Pacers are going to be even better, as I think he's better in that team than Oladipo was.
-

Nance and McGee are the only ones not injured right now. Our starting line-up yesterday was ludicrous - eight players out injured. And now Taurean Prince comes in to make nine. You just can’t make any evaluations.

It's been so unfortunate man ...
Really liked the way you started the season. Sill haven't seen Sexton, Garland, Okoro, Love and Drummond out there as a starting 5 and all healthy.
Really think they could have been a sneaky underdog to make the playoffs in the East.
I guess the good thing is you have a lot of talented bigs that you could potentially flip now for someone decent, so should be interesting to see what you guys do.
-
Recipe for disaster  what bunch of fruitcakes.
Traded their future away as well.
-
For the 2nd time  who let Billy King back in.

What a debut for Harden. Wew.
-
What a debut for Harden. Wew.
If Harden is willing to make the same adjustments as Durant did in GSW, they will be lethal together. KD is just as deadly off the ball and works well when he shares the ball handling load.
Irving will be the issue long term, they'll play nice this year for a run at the finals but surely Kyrie is shipped out by the 2021/22 trade deadline.
-
Some diet in fairness.
-
Just recently got into the NBA so last night was my first time fully watching Durant. Just unbelievable, didn't seem to matter how well he was defended, he just scored anyway.
Should they trade Kyrie for some better depth players?
-
Durant is the most enjoyable player to watch IMO, makes scoring look effortless. Kyrie would likely hurt his own trade value by refusing to play for about 28 of the teams. They’re going to run with the team as is and Nash will likely jump off the Brooklyn Bridge before its all over.
-
Imagine if the Nets had fans, like.
-
Imagine if the Nets had fans, like.
 $5 tickets 2 years ago.
-
I remember those $10 ticket days, going to see them get their arses whooped. Got to see Giannis one game and AD another so couldn’t complain too much.
-

Nice. Lots of fun young talent coming through at the minute. Great time to get into the league
KD is the ultimate cheat code. I hate that his rep took such a hit because he chose to join the Warriors a few years ago, because I don't think he gets the respect he deserves on the whole. He is the most skilful player in the NBA IMO, and at 7 foot tall it really is unfair.
Kyrie has made his reputation so toxic now that despite his talent, no one would trade for him. Guy has gone off the deep end. In hindsight I think Brooklyn just used him to get KD and now they've added Harden they will let him go as soon as they can figure out how, over the next few seasons.
-
@Mike Quickley is nice.
-
This is the worst I've ever seen us play. So bad
-
Missing your best player and Kemba looks rusty as f***.
-
Marcus Smart is such a terrible offensive player
-
As bad as we were, which was very bad, Quickley looked decent for yous
-
Zion Williamson is an unstoppable force of nature ... just move out of that man's way.
Shame the team is not playing well though. Starting to feel like the coach is not a good fit. Need to see them playing at a faster tempo with those young guys getting up and down the court.
Lonzo in particular just looks lost at the moment. Think he'll leave in free agency in the summer.
-
That was an unexpected win . Nice to see the kids develop.
-

Still have Garland and Love out too. Going to be so interesting to see you with everyone back. Love Colin Sexton, has so much gusto, just a great winning mentality.
-
We are so pathetic:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-55742664
Just need to send in Kyrie to sort it out.
-
The college season looks crazy this year, both Duke and Kentucky nowhere to be seen.

-
I still remember people hating on Sexton because he was a kid who didn't fit the generic idea people have of a point guard.
Nice to see him excelling.
-
Quickley is looking like the steal of the draft. Good job too, seeing as we picked Toppin over Halliburton.
-
Bradley Beal must hate his life

Increasing talk about a trade to the Warriors.
-
Wiseman, Wiggins picks?
-
Wiseman, Wiggins picks?
Or Wiseman, Oubre Jr, and picks.
-
Don’t think Washington get more anywhere else, maybe Denver but I think they’ll stick with Porter Jr now.
-
Yeah, if the Warriors really want him, and he wants to leave, they really do have the most to offer. Of course losing Wiseman probably means throwing the future away for the next few years. But Curry is a generational player. Do you really want to p*ss the rest of his prime away? Interesting conundrum for them.

Nowt to do with them having 3 of the best players in the league then?

 I’ve been high on them in here since the off. Thibs has been a revelation and Quickley is going to be a star in the city. Randle looks like a pound shop Lebron. Also did the draft simulator once and we got the first 2 picks so strap in, it’s about be be a dynasty.
-
lol

Honestly no f***ing idea. Liked the logo then I saw someone in a movie with a shirt and liked it. That's as far as it goes. Think I could name 2 players in the NBA if I tried.

Nice to see Memphis are still our sons.

f***.

I haven't watched the Knicks this year but D Rose would be very old Knicks.
As i understand it the new FO have been acting like a normal NBA team and not a clown fiesta.
-
If it means Payton gets less minutes I’m good. If it means Quickley gets less minutes I’m mad.
-
0-1 since @Mike publicly declared his support.
-
.....and we gave up a 2nd rounder for Rose.
-
 Like, what year is it.
-
 Like, what year is it.
I mean, Brady just won the SB, so who knows?
-
I dunno if it's just me but it feels like the refs are actually getting worse.
Somehow.
-
I....enjoy Knick games.
-
Bent useless f***ing ref c***s.
-
Nice to win despite our two best players were in foul trouble all game because the refs are useless shitheads.
-
WE ARE THE NEW YORK KNICKS
-
Jokic is just incredible
-
Our offence since we started using Zion as a point forward has been absolutely ridiculous.
Coincidentally Zion himself has been playing like an absolute monster in that timespan.
If we could actually figure out how to defend we would actually be a good team lol, maybe one day.
-
Happy Zion is finally getting a chance to play this way. He is fantastic with the ball in his hands.
Duke would have won a chip if they had used him more than they used RJ Barrett on the ball at the time.
-
Also catching the highlights of Nets vs Suns, the shotmaking in the 4th is absolutely ludicrous.
Harden carrying Nets to a win without Kyrie and KD over a very good team seems notable.
-
The nets really are going to win it all!
-
People crying over Zion making the all star game is telling me these people aren't actually watching him play.
The guy is putting up 25/7/3 on 62/35/71 splits with a 62.3 eFG% and the 6th highest PER in the league.
If team record ever actually mattered when it came to all star then Trae Young wouldn't have made it as a starter last year.
It's never mattered despite how people cry about it every year for some reason.
-
Garbage refs.
-
You dipshits did everything in your power to lose, despite the Warriors trying to get you across the finish line in the 4th.
-
The schedule released today is a bit nuts, some teams have more than 10 back to backs.
-
Nobody, absolutely nobody scores the ball as easily as Zion does. This is bloody ridiculous.
-
Nobody, absolutely nobody scores the ball as easily as Zion does. This is bloody ridiculous.
Only person who can guard him is the refs tbh. It's Shaq like in the sense he has to play through a ridiculously amount of contact because he's stronger than everyone else.
-
Lamelo Ball is incredible.
So entertaining to watch too. Special talent.
-
Above .500 in March :thumb:
-
You guys are definitely making the playoffs and you might end up embarrassing someone big time.
-
Above .500 in March :thumb:
We're fun to watch!
-
I’m loving watching the youth play hard and the addition of Rose, Gibson and Noel has been nice. Still think Randle is fools gold but I’m enjoying it while it lasts.
-
Play hard, what's that? Sounds fun.
-

 Randle out here looking like Ewing, man. Who'da f***ing thunk it.
The Rose trade was inspired. Are we well run? What the f***?!

Leon Rose has certainly done more good than bad. It’s unnerving, I need Dolan to go on Francesca or something
-
Of course we beat the team with the best record in the NBA.
This team is so frustrating lmao.
