  1. is the league code ibd4ma for the standard fantasy league? its saying the code is invalid but maybe that's because the season has started?
  2. We'd be lightyears better with two good fullbacks who can provide us with proper width if we're sticking with 3 at the back. After that, replace whoever leaves and maybe one other attacking player as we don't have any other options but Rondon, Almiron and Perez.
  3. So 6 of the 7 clubs with the worst finances in the Championship the year we went up are now in the premiership? Wednesday must be gutted Also how the fuck are Villa not bottom of that.
  4. tune ? Turning Japanese by the vapors surely. Yep. What else would it possibly be? Someone put yellow submarine above I was meant to quote that message as well. That woosh smiley still lying around anywhere...

Shola's a ledge, you can all fuck off
  6. I get that. What is there to lose though? I'm at the point staying up means Ashley wins and going down might help me the start of getting rid of him People have been saying on here it would be better if we go down pretty much every season since the last year of souness' time here. Might just be me but I can't see what is to be gained by perpetually wishing for relegation. It's shit at the moment, ashley is locked in a destructive power play with Rafa and doesn't seem to have any long term ambitions for the club, but what your essentially asking us for is to do a Sunderland, and even if it forces Ashley out I'm not sure we would be in a better situation.
  7. Pretty much what I thought, although I can't see there being a direct relationship between our transfer funds and the house of fraser. He can't use the club like a cash machine.
  8. Not sure but I think there are some decent bets out there. On bet365 wolves and soton are 15/2 to go down. Burnley are 4/1. Very long odds in my opinion. I know wolves are spending but they're a newly promoted team and its a competitive league down there. Similar with soton with Hughes as their manager. Also west brom at 5/2 Shrewsbury at 9/1 Accrington Stanley at 25/1 all for promotion are decent shouts. Stanley won the league after a ridiculous run last season and newly promoted clubs often do well in league one, although rarely get promoted it has to be said. I've put around 8 6-pound banker accumulators on juve, bayern, psg, celtic and 2 from 4 of a variety of selections including the above and a few more (huddlesfield down, pompey, Notts county, mkdons up, Chelsea on the all teams points handy cap thingy can't remember what it's called).
  9. Definitely trying to be optimistic but a return of almost a goal/ assist every other game in a team at the bottom of the league isn't dreadful. Should be an improvement on joselu I guess.

much rather have a really difficult start of the season than a really easy one. First few games are always a lottery, if you do what Palace did last season it can fuck your entire year up. Plus rafa's teams always get better through the season and its a world cup year so a lot of the top 6's players will probably be returning pretty knackered.
  11. Ben Arfa cost 4.5mill or something riddiculous. The guy is good but the lack of any genuine flair in that position is hurting us
  12. That would kill Woodman (and potentially us if Dubravka got injured). He needs a full (probably two) seasons out on loan playing week in week out before he'll be anywhere near PL level. He's made 35 senior starts and he's just turned 21. I don't see much problem with him having half a season at the club and half a season out on loan for instance for a couple of more years. Pickford had made 130 by the same age. We're wasting the lads' key development years with shoddy loans. He's not PL standard yet. Miles off physically and technically, and he's not gonna improve unless he starts playing regularly. Another year like the one he's just had needs to be avoided at all costs. His Wiki says it was 93, 29 of those in non-league. Even so, I doubt he was in the first-team squad during a lot of that time either. Woodman would likely be training with the first-team everyday, learning from Rafa, Dubravka, the staff, in a Premier League environment. There's also no reason why he couldn't push Dubravka within a year or two. Dubravka's good but he's not exactly elite. At the same stage, Shay Given had played 24 times by the way. His next season was as first choice Newcastle keeper. He needs to be playing games. It would be crazy not to send him on loan next year.
  13. With the amount chelsea probably want for him, as well as interest from other clubs, i would have been surprised if a deal had been agreed yet. I'd also be very surprised if we didn't try and sign him.
