I wonder if we go down the route of having a sporting and technical director.

With Isak, unless the player is pushing a transfer, its not going to happen. By all accounts he's happy and settled and although it may be naive of me, I don't think there are enough "pull" factors in Arsenal's favour. It'll either by headline filling or Arsenal trying to unsettle him, or a bit of both.

Feels like the Premier League is beginning to eat itself.

Arsenal are a cracking side, but fitting in Rice and Havertz doesn't seemed to have moved them forward. If anything it's nullified Odegaard, their best player.
-
If Bayern progress tonight it's not looking good for five Champions League spots.

It's a non-ministerial government department. So it behaves as an arm of the government, chocked with civil servants. While an indipedant regulator is answerable to Parliament, its fully autonomous.
-
Ofwat isn't an independent regulator.

Also PSG created a few very good chances, but we were saved by good goalkeeping and poor finishing. The rearguard action v Milan was more convincing.

xG is like any other stat. It's useful in context, when used alongside other stats and the eye test. But on it's own it can pretty misleading.

He's full of shit, but a rumour is a rumour.

I feel dirty cheering for Barca, but I'm not ready to move past our robbery yet.

Just seen the red. It's soft as fuck, but probably the correct call.
