One of the criteria was the exploiting of clubs and fans.

Gary Neville might want to look again at his input, and question his employers who are currently exploiting fans by charging 14.99 to watch a match.

I’ve had a look on both Man U and Liverpool forums to see what they were saying. Liverpool fans were surprisingly more disgraceful than the Man U lot.

Well I always saw Man U fans as the worst of the worst, but my observation is that they have more awareness than Liverpool fans, who seem to be living a fantasy in which their club is a persecuted hero.

A good chunk of Liverpool fans being total pricks isn't a surprise tbf considering their behaviour at our game a couple of seasons ago.

I went to college with a bunch of Man Utd fans and was brainwashed into despising Liverpool even more than I already did. Nearly 20 years on it's stuck, I can't stand them and care very little for anything related to Liverpool Football Club.

Just think of the fantastic, massive clubs that would be fighting for the exciting Premier League Title every year, if these six "parasites" were kicked out.

After a VERY short-term financial hit, everything, absolutely everything, would be so much better.

As time passed we would never even remember them, and it would be a lesson in what happens when personal greed takes you over.

I would hope the other clubs at least 'propose' voting the pointless f*cks out, even if it doesn't happen.

I wonder how long fans would enjoy playing the same fixtures every month. Wonder how long Man Utd fans would enjoy knowing that the only thing they have to compete for every year is not finishing bottom of their new "league"

The thing that always makes me laugh reading stuff like that is the absolute brass neck of Spurs, who seem to have categorically proven they are too big for English football given their trophy haul in the last 20 years: the 2008 League Cup.

It would be hilarious if a European super league was formed and they were left out, 2 league titles in your history shouldn’t get you into such a group. The others would drop them no problem if it came down to it.

Reminds me of the cliques on here tbh.

I have always suspected that the 'top' (define this?) 4 or 6 have wanted to be part of a European league, so they could play the likes of Barcelona, Bayern, PSG etc every week rather than go to the dreadfully poor places like Watford, Norwich or even West Brom. This action just confirms this. How else can they propose the restructure then vote against it? Surely it's the first steps in forcing a divorce from the PL? You can be absolutely certain that the 'elite' clubs in Europe have all had clandestine talks and meetings about turning the Champions League into a full time league. It's beginning to head that way any way with the planned expanded tournament.

They will  negotiate their own TV rights, no relegation, no intruders. Then watch as crowds diminish until it's all corporate hospitality. God rot them all. The day will come when the American owners who do love a good Franchise operation, will realise it isn't working or profitable enough and they'll drop them like a stone, then watch them crumble from afar.

The fact the the PL even let them discuss and overrule another clubs takeover (ours in the summer, but it could be anyone's at any time in the future) is disgusting enough and how the PL let them get away with it is testimony to the utter toothless and subservient behaviour of the PL and it's spineless chairman.

As others have pointed out the 'top' 6 need their wings clipping big time. They are part of the PL and must abide by its rules or they can go fuck off and play with themselves. Time for the PL to grow some big balls.

I'd rather we were in a real league with honest clubs and honest supporters rather than the manufactured future proposed. So Watford can win the league. Why not? Leicester did, and wasn't that a joy to watch? Stuff you big 6. Stuff you.

I fucking I hope at least 1 of those 6 clubs cunts finish outside outside the top six this season. Man U hopefully.

Honestly think there's some truth to this. CL is already a mini league and there's more than enough games to satisfy tv audiences. I don't think the big 6 would last long if the other PL clubs told them to do one and we carried on without them.

I would say the same if we were one of them btw. European nights are great, but they would get old pretty quickly if they became the main course rather than the cherry on top. The PL is the bedrock of our very successful football league. If you start diluting that you risk killing the golden goose.
