  1. Specifically on Klopp, for me it's also the fact he's weeks away from concluding a job he's been in for a decade. It has all fell apart for him in recent weeks as they fall out of competitions with a whimper. He has a perfect opportunity to deal with it all with a bit of class knowing he leaves with his reputation enhanced and he is universally respected. But it's beyond him. He's a petty little man. Just think back to Bobby Robson's quotes after that Arsenal game, about losing with class etc. I know he'd deal with this completely differently, and I know what he'd think about Klopp's antics too.
  2. Same. Zero class. It's really ugly and quite awkward to be exposed to so often now.

    LOL at Lolro

He always was an arsehole, not surprised to learn this about his views and outlook on life now. The way he carried on as a commentator was excruciatingly unfunny and tbh unprofessional to the point he should have been sacked for that itself. Imagine sitting at a World Cup and moaning about every aspect of it, disrespecting your hosts and various other parties, and being arrogant enough to think it was alright. It was totally embarrassing, as was he generally. Glad he's off our screens.
  4. It has been covered by others but checking periodically in short quick bursts. As when one pops up you need to secure it quick. Gets easier the closer you get to KO.
  5. I'm worried in case they change the resale system cos much like bobbydazzla I've been able to get tickets for every game I didn't win the ballot for.
  6. Can't even have a wank over a hypothetical corporate power move these days, world's gone mad.
  7. Not sure why anyone's upset, imagine the Saudi power moves on the horizon
  8. Fuckin el if this is serious Antony came on at 3-0, did nowt as yous conceded 3, didn't take a pen, then did that to a team a division below who you'd just scraped past. It makes you and him look pathetic and classless whatever else had gone on, but if you're happy with that fair enough
  9. Cheers to all who posted about these being available and the discount code - not often you can pick up a sponsorless shirt
  10. I can't recall what my ratio was tbh - applied for maybe three quarters of the games and reckon I was successful 40-50% of the time. Any time I was unsuccessful I was able to get ticket(s) in the resale with borderline (or not so borderline) autistic levels or persistence.
  11. Fair enough, all of the stuff you've said there will doubtless help raise revenues and feel all swanky vs what we've got now, but it's of zero interest to me personally as a non-rich fan of a team with a ground in its city centre.
  12. Aye I'm not saying Wembley is a good ground, I'm saying that's a new ground I've been to. And asking if anyone has been to a new ground and been bowled over by the atmosphere. Everyone always points to Spurs' ground, is the atmosphere that great there? Even so, the ratio seems pretty poor if that's the only good example anyone ever gives.
  13. Has anyone who is dead set on a new stadium actually experienced an amazing atmosphere in a new ground? Beside loving SJP that is one of the main aspects making me reluctant to move. Been to the new Wembley a few times and it's a nice day out and everything but feels soulless. I'd hate for us to go full steam ahead into a new stadium build and end up in a venue that felt horribly artificial, looking back at what we've lost when there's no going back. That said I'm torn because I do feel we could fill 70-80k even during dodgy seasons if the pricing is right.
