  1. I guess the way we play away from home means people are hardly confident of getting a result there.
  2. Bruno the only one trying to force the issue, as always. But was below his usual standard. Isak looked good the 5-6 times we got him the ball
  3. As great as Eze was/is. He’d have actually frustrated me tonight as a Palace fan. Lost count of the times he beat Krafth or one of our defenders 1 on 1. Then decided to have 5 more touches and not cross or shoot. Then the attack coming to nothing. ASM levels of overplaying and trying to skin our entire team
  4. Got it wrong tonight. Not helped by some cowardly performances. I know it’s very basic analysis. But the amount of times they were flying into challenges and we pretty much pulled out. The shithousing from them. They genuinely seemed a yard quicker to every loose ball. That was us last season. But our tactics seemed well off. As did the effort from most of the players.
  5. Deserved fuck all. Got fuck all. Howe takes most the blame tonight. The same way he gets the plaudits when we win. Formation not working and quite a few changes we ignored. Abject as fuck and about as bad as some of the December/January games. Oh well. Onto the next one. 7th it is
  6. This is what I think. I know it’s at full pace. But on the slow mo there is fuck all contact and you can see he delays going down. He does it all the while and never sells it. Worst diver I’ve ever seen for us. So unconvincing
  7. The most disappointing thing is the midfield are getting bullied by a skinny kid from the Championship (who is very good BTW) and that bloke from Me, Myself and Irene.
  8. Been coming. Yet again just giving it straight back down the right. Mental decision to send the same 11 back out.
  9. Formation change, perhaps. Feel like Anderson is stuck between two positions. Whereas Murphy is just pushed out wide all the time and offering fuck all. Doesn’t feel like it is working as it is.
  10. At one point, I think a promising attack in their final third. Ended up back with Murphy. He took three touches the wrong way and ended up back near our goal Harsh to keep singling the same players out. When they have performed so admirably and have often been playing because of needs must. But that right hand side three of Krafth, Murphy and Longstaff is atrocious. Not managed to build anything there and lost count of how many times we’ve lost it. The left is marginally better……
  11. Very similar to Fulham away and we were brilliant second half there. I know Howe rarely changes it at half time. But with the options we have and the state of that right hand side. I think Tino needs to come on.
  12. Slowly getting better. But we still want too many touches. Or they just carry the ball towards the player they should have passed to 3-4 seconds earlier.
  13. Murphy and/or Krafth have got to come off. Their complete inability to do anything on the ball is killing us down that side.
  14. Easy to say in hindsight. But for the Isak chance, it felt like nodding it down was the wrong option. Was the right side of Andersen and the ball was coming across. Still unlucky and good that he looks sharp and alive after having fuck all service for half an hour.
