Almiron's goal/ assist record (as good as ASM) is not going to be good considering he spends most the game deep in our half anyway, he only gets a chance when sprinting the whole pitch and when he has the ball, usually the furthest forward anyway with backup 9 miles away.

Feel really sorry for Miggy. He used to love his football here, always that huge smile on his face, and then along came Bruce.  I posted at the time that Miggy would be used to warm the bench because that is how Bruce works.  Ha can't handle players with flair because he doesn't know how to build a team or get the best out of players.  His ideal is 10 grunters like Hendrick who aren't good enough to see through Bruce and just go out and run with no plan at all

He's similar to Sissoko, good at doing what he does, but without Moussa's physique. People will say he's shit which he patently isn't but cant see him doing anything of note whilst the hambassador is in charge.

How many other teams in the league would he get a game for? that's a good way to look at it. Probably 4 or 5 at best for me.

Totally agree, I still think he has the correct players around him, but with these tactics with that manager we may as well cash in on him.

He's not being used correctly, he plays for a manager who doesn't believe in him, in a non functioning team, low confidence. Should he do better? Yeah probably. Should he be written off? No. Especially not when you've seen how he can contribute. He's never gonna be one of the best players in the league, but let's not kid ourself that he ain't PL quality.

Exactly, if Bruce had signed him everyone would be calling him worse than shit. But most are desperate for him to come good because Rafa signed him

I like some of your posts  but to call people the donnay army who comment on a player is really condescending- and you post all the time aswel you twerp! He’s ok, he’s bottom half level or championship level and he would be better with a better manager. If he was 21 would be a bit more open to him improving a lot.

The lad has ability he just being managed by an idiot.  Bruce hasnt a clue how to get the best out of him.

Who keeps saying Almiron is a flair player? He’s not, he runs fast and can skip past a few players. He’s nowhere near the skill level that ASM has, or Wilson for that matter (who’s probably a better playmaker than all of our other forwards)

He has a good engine and is best used on the counter but for the most part his end product bares little fruit.

He will improve when Rafa comes back 🙂

Agree with this 100%.  Almiron is crap every tine he plays on the right.  On the left he creates and scores.  Yes Ashley is the big issue but Bruce is a moron who will take us down losing any chance of a takeover

Personally thought he was at his best when he played 10, for himself and the team. He could run from inside to out on the counter, and could actually play closer to ASM.

The fact that Bruce admitted he doesn't see the difference between 4231 and 442 says it all though. He's archaic on a level far beyond anything we've had before.
