yes swearing is an offence if directed at a match official. IIRC the law wording is "foul and/or abusive language towards a match official" and is a red card offence. However Graham Poll said on 5live, that officials are told to try and keep 22 players on the pitch.

Totally agree, I had an under 7's manager do exectly the same against my team in a friendly a few weeks ago. They are the sort of people that shouldn't be in football at all. One of our coaches even had to attend to one of his kids who had hurt themselves, as he wasn't interested as they were not on the pitch. to be honest that was his attitude to all his subs.
