  1. I feel dirty typing this but this is due to a chat at work I've had with a Chelsea goblin. I got a feeling Chelsea are going to come in for him this Christmas, there's murmurings on the Chelsea board- I think he should stay and i shudder at the idea but how much do you think the club would ask for him? They know they have Chelsea over a barrel, He's English and the most in form striker over the last few years barring Kane and Haaland. We're in a position of strength and it could jump-start a litany of other signings having that cash injection.
  2. And off down the rabbit hole i go..
  3. This is all excellent. Love it.
  4. It's late 1997- I'm 12, large for my size and in and been accepted for youthie setup at pompey as a GK, parents couldn't afford to hop over the ferry each day so it was out of the question and was heartbroken. I didn't really have any one team i followed, everyone down here just picked Arsenal, Manchester, Liverpool or Tottenham and i just didnt care to support a team i had no interest in. Mum's dragged me off to Newcastle to see the family for a wedding, we used to go up there once a year at that point and the family up there was fun and cool and a big younger than my parents so used to love it. Uncle surprised us with a rented box for some game 'in toon' Que Tino Asprilla Hat-trick against Barcelona at home and changed my DNA, being away from Newcastle and out the loot had me chasing the dragon on forums and such and i'm still here spending too much money on merch 25 years later.
  5. Speech impediment sufferers tend to spend their early lives working on annunciation and such, end up doing forms of public speaking in order to get over certain mental hurdles and it means they tend towards those kind of jobs, there's so many presenters and singer types that have them.
  6. Every opportunity he has for the killer pass he doesn't take it. :/
  7. It beggars belief that that's the highlight of my team, Newcastle- relegation fodder and shitehouse cloggers owned by Sports directs own Mike Ashley. I can't believe the trauma of that regime is over.

From Watfords forums, usually find best judge of a player is those fans he's leaving behind. Seems alright!
  9. He should have had a better return, i think that's on his teammates and decision makers above. We've been so bad for so long and so fucking negative, I'm worried about Mitrovic this year in terms of really exposing what could have been and we've been lucky in that we've had a buyout after 15 years of dirge. Does anyone think if he'd played in a more positive system he'd have been more productive? I always felt like he was both in the wrong place AND starved. As a poacher, bursting past the last man type he really chose the wrong club to come to. I'm sure he could have forced his way out of that comfortable wage and gone somewhere like Sheffield or something, whose to blame for that wasted time?
  10. Yeah, 100% the set pieces are all overhit
  11. What on earth was he thinking. Dumb as bricks.
  12. Was that bit of medical cling film stuff covered in claret?
