  1. If you take away penalties - Cole is 19 goals behind Alan Shearer. It changes people's perspective of him massively. Even if he was crap at pens and scored 50% his best Man U seasons go from 18, 19 to like 21, 22 and he's way closer to Shearer overall.
  2. He's scored 10 goals. 9 in the league. A lot of his earlier minutes have been off the bench. A season where he's a regular starter across the season. Notching up 25+ goal contributions would be great. You can't underestimate how important it is for the lad to be settled in an area that he likes. With a squad and teammates that like and respect him. He's only 19 and has already moved countries twice to play football. If he's developing at a good pace. Let him continue to develop. Suarez spent 4.5 years in the Eredivise and developed season on season. IMO there's no rush to have him playing at Norwich for a season. Let him settle, make friends etc. If we want to bring him home great.
  3. I also think the Liverpool job isn't that attractive. It's halfway through a rebuild in another manager's vision. Liverpool have money to spend but are fairly strict with their limits. They've been gazumped by Real & Chelsea multiple times for transfer targets. Klopp wanted Tchoumani, Bellingham & Caicedo in midfield. They have Endo & MacAllister. Finihsing 2nd & 3rd wouldn't be seen as a success. I'm hoping for Xabi at Real. Let Carlo do his thing with Mbappe and co. next season. Then give Xabi the keys.
  4. Think there was a chance he could. I would've liked to have seen him have a dominant season over there.
  5. Arne Slot going would be a huge loss for wor Minteh lad. Slot is a massive advocate for the lad at Feyenoord. That attitude around youth will be great at Liverpool. They've got a young crop there that could be special. Liverpool might need to be content with being a little off the pace for a season or two in the league.
  6. There's a deep-seated rot in Chelsea much like Manchester United. It won't disappear with a new manager or a new striker IMO. Spurs & Villa don't have that deep-seated rot which makes them more dangerous over the medium term.
  7. It's not a multi-club model that as far as I know with Vitesse. It's underhand dealings.
  8. Too inconsistent and not enough heart. They could win 4 of their remaining 6 fixtures. But which 4? No idea.
  9. Btw Wesley Fofana is equal parts lucky and unlucky. 7 knee injuries and a broken leg. But a contract until 2029.
  10. Agreed. One huge advantage is they are never far off a mental collapse. And they have bad injuries too.
  11. I only want Europa because of the extra revenue and co-efficients. I absolutely do not expect us to be able to win it. And it's more detrimental to league form than Conference League. Conference League we should be able to win it. And pre-Christmas it offers an excellent opportunities to give minutes to youngsters and squad players.
  12. I’d be delighted with any European competition. Europa is great but we’ll probably not win it. Conference is less exciting from a sporting perspective but great away trips and a realistic chance of winning. the first trophy is the hardest. We just need to win it.
  13. Ben White and Odegaard have killed me.
  14. Chelsea have had good results and performances against "good" sides
