About midds

  1. Wonder if de Zerbi fancies it?
  2. I find it virtually impossible to believe that genuine Man U fans can look at ETH and what he's offered up and be pleased. Surely once they put their comfort blankets down and just watch the games for what they are that he's taking them backwards? He's been dreadful for them and they've been winging it for months now, the odd moment of brilliance, the massive lucky streak and other intangibles have papered over the cracks and kept him in a job but that only lasts for so long. Keep him on and they'll plummet
  3. Have to bare in mind that Man U could resolve this entire situation by just paying the money we're after. It's all well and good moaning like fuck about having to pay for the services of a bloke they rate and want but they unsettled him in the first place. They've caused the situation by publically courting him but they're unable/unwilling to pay the cash to actually get him. Then the bridge-dweller pops up on national tv actually and complains about it
  4. Just 3 pens away man. Come on Cov
  5. Quite agree. But they've got to put the lines down and one is going to be in front of the other and unfortunately it went against the Cov today. Think that'll bladder them
  6. It is off tbf like. It's a hairline decision but it doesn't paper over the cracks in this team. Throwing away a 3 goal lead is horrendous stuff
  7. I honestly don't think giving pens for incidents like that should be done. If it's blatantly and deliberately blocking the cross then yes, give it. But if it's incidental and accidental then a pen is too harsh a punishment imo. But what absolutely can't happen is that it's given one week but not the next. How can they expect any respect from players and fans if they just make it up and flip a coin as to whether they give it or not. Invites allegations of corruption
  8. These fuckers are just unflushable
  9. Am I right in thinking that if Man U win today then they're guaranteed EL next season, either through 6th or losing the Final?
  10. Well done City, against all the odds they've managed to pull off a fantastic victory in the teeth of adversity. Got to be a huge lift to their long-suffering fans. An end of season Wembley final will be just reward for the beleaguered fanbase. Bless them
  11. I don't think we're actually that far away from having quality and cover in most positions. It definitely feels like we're light and it has done for the last 6 months or so purely because we've consistently had at least 8 players out injured and we've had to cope. Some of the performances (individual and team) have been a bit sketchy but we're currently 6th with a nice run-in and that's despite having to rely a lot on the squad for ages. If everyone was fit we could go Pope, Trippier, Tino, Schar, Botman, Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton, Gordon, Isak & Barnes with a bench of Dubravka, Burn, Willock, Miley, Anderson, Wilson, Lascelles, Hall, Murphy. That still leaves the likes of Longstaff, Almiron, Targett and Karius not even involved. We're not half as short as we think we are. Obviously we could get better but we're not too shabby when everyone is fit and available and there's no panic this summer. We all want to improve and that's natural but there's some serious talent at this club already - we'll be fine. The current injuries have distorted a lot of things for so long
  12. No idea as to FFP but I think so? It's income at the end of the day. From what I gather the Saudis aren't keen on getting stung on deals and have more than enough cash to see him rot for the next couple of years rather than lose face. I think a compromise will eventually be reached but they'll not give in or bend for anyone. They'll have a price they're happy with and it'll either be met or it won't
