  1. Aye, but we also don't want to see shite offsides because someone's armpit might be seen as in front of the last defender. Even without VAR it's rubbish. Was so much better before it, when it wasn't necessarily the law but everyone seemed to have the, "there's clear daylight" interpretation and it was mainly accepted.
  2. I'd still put Pochettino up a level like, think he's Howe, De Zerbi, etc level. Think Chelsea will settle eventually in the transfer market and he'll have them up around the top 4 again.
  3. It's posts like this and the Conjo one which makes me think what West Ham would be like with a more progressive manager. So much talent in there. Moyes will have them "par" at best, but I reckon a Potter or Howe would have them punching a place or two higher. They could be around where Villa & Spurs are.
  4. Admitted to getting a yellow to get a suspension at Boro while they were battling relegation, so he was able to go to Vegas for the boxing?
  5. Was great for the counter-attack and relieving pressure. We knew if we were defending deep, give the ball to him and he'd carry us 50 yards up the pitch. He was also one of the only players that maintained his level under Robson, right through Souness and Roeder.
  6. I'm sure he got booed when he played up here for them.
  7. Given my views before, but great stuff.
  8. Can't be many clubs to have played in the Champions League, Europa League & Europa Conference League all in one season and win 1 tie out of 4 in all of them combined, like. The new format should mean they get to at least the Knock Out Play-Off too. He's going to be playing 2x pot 4 teams rather than just clubs than them.
  9. Serious or joking? It's a PR exercise, the matches will be exhibition games at best, probably without players going to the Euros.
  10. Won't put Ange above Howe until he manages Europe, cups and the PL better in his second season than Howe did.
  11. Would be criminal not to take Kuol over, surely.
  12. Tony Pulis. Knew his football was unattractive, didn't give a shit, got great results in relation to the resources he had available to him.
  13. Collymore absolutely spot on.
  14. Chances are he'll not play, or if he does, it'll be the odd 20 minutes maybe. Big picture, it looks good from the outside looking in when we're trying to sign players that they can improve to the level he has in 15 months to the point he's getting called up by England.
