In general employees do not get pay increases unless the company is making money and NUFC like most clubs loses money. There is a savage readjustment of players wages due before too long and it won't be upwards.

He was very impressive against Villa, helping out in midfield both defensively and further forward. Calm in possession with a nice range of passing. Hall looks like he could do something similar.

Hall appears to have the skill set to play the fullback role similar to what Rico Lewis does at City. Might be a bit too revolutionary for Eddie though.

Maybe, but we just don’t know as there doesn’t appear to be anything in writing as to what the potential penalties are. They seem to just make them up on a case to case basis.

Go and drop 500 million in the next transfer window which should be enough to make us top four competitive if spent wisely and if it costs us 10 points so be it. We'd still finish higher up than if we have no money to spend this summer

Selling Bruno hugely hinders any progression we hope to make and also will send out completely the wrong message to the supporters. The owners have to find another way around FFP or ignore it or go to court.

Ruthless is a word that is appearing in lots of posts and Eddie has to start being exactly that. Not only with some of the players but also with the ownership because unless they find the money to strengthen significantly the team and squad, we are staying where we are and that’s between 7th and somewhere right in the middle. I know we need a squad, but there shouldn’t be contract extensions to any player who isn’t improving us and taking us forward. Play some of the youngsters some of them might surprise us. There are no surprises from Dummett, Krafth, Lascelles, Ritchie, Murphy, Almiron, Dubravka, Longstaff etc. except how often they remind us that they are not good enough. Eddie should be having a word with the likes of Longstaff and Willock and telling them these kinds of aimless half assed performances will result in them not playing and being sold. It’s time to get brutal because if we hope to improve and god forbid actually win something it’s no time to show loyalty or to keep persisting with at least half of the current squad.
