About r0cafella

  1. Saw the highlights whilst eating my breakfast, looked pretty grim.
  2. It would be a good thing yes, it will ultimately limit how far the big boys can run into the distance as they are capped at a limit lower than revenue. That being said, I’ve got no idea why the PL is so determined to make the league less competitive on the bigger stage. Ultimately such rules means you will never see an Mbappe grace these shores but PSG and Madrid would remain viable options. It’s quite clear the owners are in full on protection mode without paying much attention to the bigger picture.
  3. He is gone if it’s triggered by someone of creature stature than us. It’s just how things are and we can largely blame FFP and PSR for it.
  4. I’m no fan of Edwards but the moment you put a realistic release clause in a contract it’s bound to fuel speculation mind. Especially when two players of roughly the same level in the same position went for the same money as the clause.
  5. If we are prepared for Ashworth to rot, then the approach we take should be as mentioned before, every time Sir Jim opens his mouth the price goes up by another million. Let’s run it up.
  6. Doesn’t he have 4 years left? Are we going to pull another master stroke and extend with a release clause?
  7. Source is Bein Ben, so can safely ignore. I’m not sure where this 80m figure comes from when the clause is 100 too.
  8. They probably can to be fair, the big 6 FFP issues and ours aren’t really comparable because they have so much the new rules will further solidify that too.
  9. Will sesko settle for being a rotation option at a Europa league side?
  10. In terms of FFP totally fine. They have massive revenues and that sweet harry Kane FFP margin. For spurs, the issue has generally been the owners don’t spend up to the limit iirc.
  11. Oh, I’ve read all those quotes from those firms before, on here as well I’m sure. I commented not long ago that populous keep pitching for the job That being said, fair play I’m glad you found it worthwhile.
  12. The article is just everything that’s been discussed on here. Let’s see in a couple of weeks when the study is released.
  13. They are meant to be but they have players who they can offload for decent fees ESR probably being the prime candidate. Also the new FFP rules are great for Arsenal when they come in.
  14. Indeed it can’t, whatever is decided we will have a lot of unhappy people mind.
  15. I think we know expansion is possible, it’s just expensive for what we get and doesn’t resolve issues regarding lack of facilities/ opening new revenue streams.
