Was it a Celtic fan? Tend to find the Old Firm lot massively overrate their own players when it comes to the wider context.
God this is true. I remember them rubbing one out over Liam Miller when he moved to Man United, telling anyone who would listen that he was a world beater
One atm for me is commentators/presenters referring to the teams just promoted as "little bournmouth", "little watford" etc. As if these teams need a verbal hair ruffling from this current bunch of strutting, condescending, LAD/LASS wank stains.
If we give this lad service he'll score - it's really that simple. That header was almost Carroll-esque in the way that he got up there ahead of the defender. We need to start him against Northampton, hopefully he gets a couple of goals and that'll get him started.
A decent centre half will see this the most successful transfer window in recent times. Failure to do so would see us carry on leaking. Pretty important.
Utter bollocks for a brewing agenda. These c***s need to keep generating drama to talk about.
Oliver Kay from the Times did it for me when he tweeted "I long for the day that Mitrovic doesn't attempt to maim someone within 2 mins".
I think the standard of sports journalism in general has sunk to an all time low. Lazy opinions pervade every article and everything is geared towards sensationalism. If Mitrovic is guilty of anything it's impetuousness on his debut and being a marked man in the 2nd game. He was fouled, pushed and then booked! It was ridiculous. Every single journo spoke about it like they'd seen him scissor kick the guy though - utter blarney.
you mean on that video?
Pretty sure that's Lille fans. They hate him because he signed for them and then whinged his way out without ever playing a game.'
Sure I read that the Marseille fans were spitting on him as well though.
