I know this forum has debated the merits of playing Milner in centre midfield (when we had him) but it's never really happened for any prolonged period of time. That'll do for me. Really, I think he'll be fine for the US as long as he's playing every week. Doesn't seem like a very high hurdle, given the mackems' mess of a squad.
