  1. So are the PL delaying Evertons takeover so they can put them into administration and be done with them? Be approved next day no doubt.
  2. It's one event out of their control which started the tumble, wasn't it? Well maybe 2. Covid and Ukraine. Putin doesn't invade Ukraine, Russian assets aren't seized, and we probably don't have this mess.
  3. 10% of £300m now 5.3% of £700m (I'd say that was a fair value of the club) So she's still up on the deal, and will continue to be for some time.
  4. Just seen Spurs' fixtures. We do our thing, there's potential for them to only pick up 5 or 6 pts. More we win, the more they lose, the more the pressure builds on them. Would be a fantastic collapse.
  5. We're stacked on the left, and Minteh is already a better player than him on the right. The drop off in quality would mean we could ever play him. He needs to move to a Burnley type team, who look to go straight back up, and who would give him a crack once there. If he went to one of the promoted teams, they'll just pick some player off the continent for a lot less offering a lot more. I see Ballard is wanted by Everton to replace Branthwaite. I don't see it personally. Ballard is limited CB, whilst JB seems to be an all rounder in the frame of a limited CB. It would be a massive step down, but again, a team going back up (not Burnley, unless Kompany leaves) give him a year to settle and hope the faith is repaid. Anyone going up sticking him in a PL season next season is going to be sorely disappointed with his level.

  7. RAWK is good reading. Unanimous in that the players have let the messiah down, and quite a few saying they should all be sold in the summer.
  8. The wheels on the bus come flying off, flying off
  9. Won only twice in 2024. Both agaisnt promoted teams. They also have a game 3 days before us as well, so realistically this should be a W. Be amazing to finish on 68pts. Really show our best we are going to be on it next season, and anyone thinking of joining that this is the place to be.
  10. Least the can start early planning for their 8th season outside the top flight.. I expect to see a new manager announced this month and a couple of new contracts for their star players, signalling they are serious about promotion and ending what could quite easily roll into a generation in the EFL. Or they piss around, push their best out the door for a profit, invest in risky potential and struggle to find a decent manager to fit their model, so give it to 'Doddsy' who is sacked by November for not winning every game 5-0 and the fans who do attend beeeeeeeeeww the fuck out of everything that moves on the pitch, especially the crisp packets.

Not too concerned with Botman's injury. DB to play there, make it his own and Botman having to oust him. He should never play at LB ever again, there's no need or excuses for it. He's a CB, and a really good one at that. We need a long term partner for Botman to replace Schar. That should be the focus, and if Howe still isn't keen on Hall at LB, then a new LB is priority.
  12. I'm hoping a lesser Europe allows for easier games and we get more use out of the fringe & rotated players. Same for the cups, some kinder fixtures would also be nice.

    Elliot Anderson

Just needed to sit further back once he understood the game better. Never a doubt from this end. His additional strength he's added this last year is a bonus, coupled with his tight space control and balance, he's a fucking nightmare with the ball at his feet.
  14. Feel we're losing 10% of Gordon out on the right, but he may get that back after a few games getting used to it. With Minteh coming in, we may be OK for wide men, especially if we don't shift Almiron.
