  1. Arsenal are a cracking side, but fitting in Rice and Havertz doesn't seemed to have moved them forward. If anything it's nullified Odegaard, their best player.
  2. If Bayern progress tonight it's not looking good for five Champions League spots.
  3. It's a non-ministerial government department. So it behaves as an arm of the government, chocked with civil servants. While an indipedant regulator is answerable to Parliament, its fully autonomous.
  4. Also PSG created a few very good chances, but we were saved by good goalkeeping and poor finishing. The rearguard action v Milan was more convincing.
  5. xG is like any other stat. It's useful in context, when used alongside other stats and the eye test. But on it's own it can pretty misleading.
  6. He's full of shit, but a rumour is a rumour.
  7. Ah well PSG getting shithoused by Atleti in the SF will be *chef's kiss*
  8. I feel dirty cheering for Barca, but I'm not ready to move past our robbery yet.
  9. Just seen the red. It's soft as fuck, but probably the correct call.
  10. Was just having a look at their results since Glasner came in: Palace 3-0 Burnley Spurs 3-1 Palace Palace 1-1 Luton Forest 1-1 Palace Bournemouth 1-0 Palace Palace 2-4 City Liverpool 0-1 Palace Thought he'd been better than that. The win at Anfield was his first since dispatching ten man Burnley.
  11. After Bruno, he's our best midfielder with the ball at his feet.
  12. He's got a highly temperamental injury and we have Anderson back, with Joelinton back in light training again. It's the correct decision. As gutted as I am for Willock, I'm excited to see what Anderson can do for the remainder of the season.
  13. Difficult to argue they're acting in good faith though, could easily come back to bite.
