  1. The PL gave them a "conditional approval" which is often seen as a polite decline. One of those conditions was to repay the loan if I recall correctly. They have a bit if cavalier attitude to complying with loan agreements, so we'll see.
  2. Absolutely mental if those chancers are allowed anywhere near a Premier League football club.
  3. Saw an interview with him yesterday. He's absolutely brain dead, but harmless and obviously a very good footballer.
  4. There's something unlikeable about Palmer, I can't put my finger on it though.
  5. Still don't believe it was complacency like. Plenty of performances like that last season where we've controlled the game and run out winners.
  6. Chelsea, spending hundreds of millions and struggling is infinitely more funny than Everton's woes.
  7. The whole discussion is about selling Wilson. If we flog him, which seems inevitable at this point, Gordon is adequate third choice.
  8. Why? Two out and out strikers is more than adequate for a team that plays one up top.
  9. I'd be quite happy with Gordon as the third striker.
  10. We wouldn't pay that £40 million up front though. If we signed a £40 million striker on a five year deal, without accounting for wages, that's an £8 million per year book value. Even if we get £15 million for him, it covers it for two years.
