Love Popey but if we are going to sign someone in January I would prefer it to be his long-term replacement.

I feel like the “results you need to win the PL” are the scrappy, boring 1-0s not conceding 3 goals to Luton and scoring a last minute winner. Arsenal did this a load of times last season then ran out of steam at the end.
