I knew their record was bad up here but not this bad!

A point up their would do me as well. We have not got a good record at all up there.

Just the 1 win in our last 14 trips to Newcastle.

Just the 4 wins in our last 26 trips to Newcastle.

Just the 9 wins in any of our overall 67 visits to Newcastle

Aye, even without Arnautovic they’re likely to have Yarmolenko, Anderson and Chicharito in attack. They’d walk into our front three.

Rest of the squad looks pretty evenly matched beyond that imo.

Yarmolenko is out for the season

Honestly it's only Arnautovic who scares me from that lot, if he's out I would back us for a win. If he's playing it could be any result, they have some good players. When they turn up they are capable of beating anyone, so while I think we'll win, wouldn't be surprised if we don't either.

Be fuming if Lascelles waltzes back in.

You need help if that gets you ‘fuming’. He’s our captain, was loved until about 3 weeks ago, and is a good player. Having many options should be celebrated, you don’t need to get angry about that fact. Positivity man

Dummett still out. 3 centre halves again?

I hope so - the solidity & rigidity at the back last game gave us some real freedom going forward that I haven't seen from us in such a way in a while; with Kenedy & Perez almost taking up free roles and also allowing Diame to get forward a bit more as well I thought.

Agree. Think we'll be letting them have the ball for most of it.

I’m an Ayoze fan, but I think Muto could do well in the role Ayoze played last week. It wasn’t really #10 - both Ayoze and Kenedy played as attacking midfielders either side of Rondon.

However, Ayoze isn’t getting dropped after his work in the win against Burnley.
