  1. They've done absolutely nothing in the second half. Really expected more.
  2. It appears to reference the old Laws of the Game that the shootout is not technically part of the match. The match officially ends when extra time ends. The shootout is just a thing that happens after. Funnily enough, this guy on Reddit accidentally predicted this would happen to Martinez:
  3. Liverpool turning this around wouldn't be entirely shocking either. Maybe there's hope...
  4. £140m is also roughly what would give us a £100m profit factoring in remaining amortisation. IMO that should be the floor for even considering it.
  5. If they are willing to do this then we'll at least listen
  6. He only remotely makes sense in a world in which we sell Bruno and Tonali is the direct Bruno replacement. Not a world I want to think about.
  7. .com is one thing, but it's also better branding. tottenhamhotspur.com mancity.com manutd.com arsenal.com liverpoolfc.com realmadrid.com juventus.com It's a very small step, but indicative of the type of thinking we're doing. Good to see.
  8. True, Chelsea more likely to screw us over.
  9. Welp, can say goodbye to extra places. Need 5th to guarantee Europa League Need 6th to guarantee Europe (+ Man City FA Cup win to get Europa League) Need 7th + a City FA Cup win to get Conference League * Note: Conference League would put us in a qualifier; not direct entry to the group stage.
  10. It's so rare I'm impressed by Doku despite thinking he's going to do something every time.
  11. Gordon's December gets a write-off from me. He, and many others, shouldn't have even been playing some of those games. No legs.
  12. Someone on here a couple weeks ago made the point that a final decision on the training ground may be linked to a decision about the stadium. It's very possible there's some truth in that.
  13. I get your point, but there's a big difference between riding some good fortune in a single game (away to a good team no less) and over-performing all of the underlying stats for two years running.
  14. Really need Arsenal to win. I don’t have much faith in West Ham.
  15. Literally can't be worse than having a keeper who is seemingly stuck in knee deep mud at all times.
