Why would FH create a headline few weeks ago and now they counter it with this bizzar statements.

I am so fed up with Puma. They have 1 decent kit in their time with us.

Coz they've not got a clue and have covered both bases

Some of the comments on that chronicle thing...some of our fans, man...

This one is my favourite, from 'Science in Sport':

"Why not returnto NUFC´s original solid red strip?

If not, Toon´s  poisoned chalice - its eye confusing black and white stripes - continues.

For fast one touch accurate passing a solid red or blue strip is a great advantage - much easier to pick out your mates.

The only advantage of B and W stripes is in for example set pieces when the ball and many B and W striped players are in the opposition box together and the opposition defense are optically confused.

Brucey seems to have realised this as demonstrated in the injury time frantics in the Chelsea and Everton matches.

Perhaps this is the type of football the majority of we fans prefer.

Yes, undoubtedly it is occasionally breathtaking.

But is less likely to win any silverware in today´s fast moving game.

When did a striped strip team last win the Premier League or old First Division?"

:mystery:

Makes sense if a takeover in potentially imminent. Saudis would want Nike or Adidas I'm assuming, and they won't want Ashley to negotiate a less lucrative 5-year deal with a different manufacturer.

However. It's 100% more likely we're terrible at deals and just didn't bother organising a new supplier.

if you set up screen printing, sewing, etc. operation you could grab a football kit catalog and pick a basic team wear template and make it look better than most of the puma kits that were designed for us
