Ashley must be bricking it at the thought of the loss of income when we go down. Being a gambler I wonder if he'll offer the players say a 10-15 million bonus to pull the finger out ?
  3. That's what struck me as well, wouldn't we get far more money over the same period by doing a number of shorter deals?
  4. Kenwyne's Jonesing for the new season to start
  5. This. Also, wtf? Document question: What is the club's ambition going forward? Given the target this season was a top ten finish and it has been achieved, what will the target for progression be in the league next year? Also, what is the target for cup competitions next year? The board reiterated the club's commitment to an open and consistent communications process with fans. The board accepted that the second half of the season had been disappointing but underlined its aim of improving on 16th-place finish in 2012/13 with a top ten finish in 2013/14 had been realised. It was stated that the club's aims for the 2014/15 Premier League season would be made public once they had been determined. The board reiterated that the Premier League will remain the club's priority. ----- So, erm, "fuck the cupz," alright, but you still haven't determined WHERE you want to finish next year? How about a simple fucking "we'll aim for the European places" placeholder of a statement? At least fucking LIE to us and make us feel good. Motherfuckers, man. Mother. Fuck. Chill oot. They will state the targets for next season when they have a better idea surely. No point expecting Europe if the sum total of our summer spend is Colback and a half chewed ham sandwich. Surely you set targets and then act in the transfer window accordingly, not set targets dependent on how the transfer window goes?
  6. £60m to cover all transfer fees () and wages for the next 5 years
  7. "He (Remy) picked up a knock in the last game towards the end and hasn't trained all week, which is a blow for us because the stats show when he plays we're a lot better. But we've got a different look to us, hopefully we can contain Liverpool's waves of attack and hit them on the break like Palace did the other night." Can't wait..
  8. Imagine how angry we'd be if we actually wanted Newcastle to win this one
  9. Also very boring. That's what I was getting at
  10. Also very boring. Also a bit tiresome.
