  1. We need to exploit the gaps in the rules like Chelsea did by signing players on 8 year contracts. We must be able to get some smart lawyer to find us these gaps where we can boost our money. As soon as we find the gaps we need to be roothless and inject crazy money before they ban it. Wouldnt it be possible to hosting a concert and taking 100M for ultra VIP tickets which ofcourse is only a PIF shell company that is buying. As i understand there is a roof on matchday tickets, but is it on stadium tours, etc? They are playing dirty and ban everything we can do, imo its time we start fighting dirty back..

Not completly true, but you sound like an expert, so what is his market value? Please let us know how you come to that conclusion. Transfermarkt is possible the most accurate site out there atm. Also you have to take into account the value in todays market and if the club wants to sell their assets, if they dont want to sell the buyer have to pay over market value. The site is a nice indicator and can be used as a reference to get the high price want. I really hope we are not selling him on cheap like we did with ASM.

acoording to transfermarkt he is worth €30M. We should get in the €40-50m range, and Spurs and Liverpool will be going totally mad about it, but I cant see PL stepping in to do something about it. Salah is worth €65m according to transfermarkt and they got an offer for £150m
  5. This is a classic example of why FFP dont work. Clubs outside the skysports top 6 needs to sell their main players in order to able to use money..
  6. Very true in what you are saying here, and also the PL saw this. They made a new rule that the sponsors like Sela and others are not allowed to pay overprice, then they will come in and stop it. FFP should be more FUP as its more Financial Unfair Play. Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham are miles in front of us when it comes to revenue and players they can sell, this model will only keep them at the top as "small" clubs has to sell their main players to stay within FFP. Only way to make it fair imo is if they put in maximum on transfer cap and wage cap. In the start of FFP they said it was so owners couldnt buy clubs and destroy them financially when it wasnt fun anymore. This could be solved by a cap on how much a club can loan, which mean this rich owners need to put money in to the club instead of giving private loans to the clubs. Also think only the winner of the PL should get more money, and the rest should be diveded to all the PL clubs. Because finnishing in CL and Europe is such a huge financially bonus in itself.
  7. I kinda agree with you both, you journo mate and you. I dont believe this season we need to finnish top 4, but I do believe our goal should be that we where in the fight for top 4(atleast top 5). Atm we are almost as far from top 4 as we are from relegation, which I dont think is good enough considering all the money we have spent over the last two seasons. I dont think seriously any Newcastle supporters want Howe out at the moment? and most of us hopes he can turn things around, but we must also be allowed to ask the question about whats wrong. If we analyze the season so far we dont have many good games, by good games I mean games which we played like we did last season. At the start of the season we looked really unfit except a few players(Gordon and Anderson), which I was kinda shocked about because Howe doesnt strike me as a lazy manager like Bruce, so could it be that our players was to hardly trained in the preseason? I must admit we really looked lazy in the pre-season games, Guimarez and Joelinton were playing like they were still on the beach in copacobana with a couple of drinks in their hand. if Villa hadnt got their star defender Mings injured i´m not sure we would have won that game, and our start of the season would have looked so much worse. Then our managing team(coaches, physios etc), not only Howe has to be asked how you can play almost the same squad in the mickey mouse cup(carabao cup), premier league, champions league and this imo led to our squad getting exhausted and more injuries. I even question last week that we started our best players against a young mid table championship side, and getting just one player injured was lucky. Our transfer window in the summer was terrible, the signings were expensive and none of them are starters by now. Tonali was a fantastic player but i really dont know why we signed him? Is he a replacement for Guimarez? Or is he a signing so Guimarez can move further up the pitch? He really feels like a luxury signing which we really couldnt afford in the summer. I hope he will come good next season. Harvey Barnes feels like a squad rotation player which we know what we get from, and that meant we lost a player who could change up things. PS! I dont say that ASM is the answer but we should have gotten a more creative player. Imo there are 3 players which we should have signed that we missed out on and thats Diaby, Paqueta and Maddison, all those players I think we could have gotten. We also showed signs last season that our cb are slow, and we should have bought a quicker cb to able to mix things up. I also wondering where are the gems we used to pick up, even under Ashley we could pick up players like Cabaye, HBA, Sissoko, Remy, Ba, etc. Really hope we are not loosing out on them just because we are signing english or PL proven players. In the end football is a result oriented game which our owners know, we have lost 6 of the last 7 games in the Premier League, and among those were Luton and Nottingham Forrest. I dont know why we are not going to a warm country in the 2 weeks break, that could really have boosted the team moral imo. For a long time now we have not been showing signs of improvement and I do fear that this is his last season if he doesnt turn it around soon. I do think and hope that he manage to turn it around and that the club really analyzes from top to bottom(medical team, coaching team ++)what went wrong and how we can improve to get where we want to be.
  8. Totally agree with what you are saying. Also need to be mentioned Popes communication with the players are so much better than Dubravkas, and I also think this makes our defenders drop the extra yard in fear of the attacker getting space behind them.
  9. Tijani Babangida. Fastes player i have ever seen, and the first game i saw him he sprintet away from a player and smashed it into the goal. He was quick, direct and his technique looked good, but first game against a european side he did not deliever at all. No speed, no movement.
  10. I hope that we rest our first team players. Hope to see Ritchie, Dummet, Kraft and some youngsters getting game time. We really dont need any more injuries to our squad now, and I dont trust this lower league team..
  11. Translation for you: we need a ASM type of player. Someone creative to open defences, and sometime make the odd goal out of nothing… would ASM be the answer, dont know but I think he would be better than Barnes atm.
  12. Worst ive seen us since the Bruce days…
  13. Haha i know what you mean, but today longstaff has been so bad. No ball controll, fall over mike a beanbag all over the place. Just trying something new and give the players some rest with rotation.
