  1. This, as much as I dislike him on a personal level.
  2. Someone like George Graham would keep us up.
  3. Wasn't the Leazes Terrace the Popular, it was when I was a kid. The East Stand section was definitely called 'The Popular' according to my old man. Then the New Stand, which he still calls it by today.
  4. Tino was playing on the next pitch to me at the Lightfoot on Thursday.
  5. Gets a lot of shit from some of our mongs but he's a better defender than Santon or Debuchy (thus far). Pretty limited on the ball mind.
  6. Doesn't make much of a difference tbh. People wanted to cause bother yesterday with or without alcohol. Suppose you're right. Knacker jobs will be knacker jobs. We were in Tlleys when it was all kicking off and 99% of the those causing bother were kids. 14-18 year olds with the odd exception. Standing with their tops off. Utter f*** tards man, nowt to do with drink. Should have said hello. I was in there also shouting abuse at the little scumbags. Embarrassing day all round really.
  7. Here's my mate's band Parastatic. This song could have been written for Pardew.
  8. It's becoming increasingly harder to defend him any ore, today was utterly shambolic and our away form has been this way all season. Those last minute Cisse winners have papered over a lot of cracks.
  9. He's got the potential to be a good player but at present he makes far too may mistakes, which have cost us dearly this season. Simpson is a far better defender than this kid, but look at the stick he gets in here. Would like to see him played further up the pitch (instead of Jonas ideally) or dropped.
  10. He scored the winner at Leicester in our first game back in the First Division. United are back, United are back....what a day that was! All the best to him.
  11. Did this a couple of years ago, and scored the winner at the Gallowgate in front of my family. Still makes me smile whenever I think about it. Do not pass this chance up if you get the opportunity to play.
  12. They're all very good, but the Barton on the bike on is fucking sublime. I must have seen it over a hundred times but it still creases me up every time. Cap doffed.
  13. Its nothing like the Robson scenario - we had qualified for CL twice under SBR and weren't playing the awful football the side is dishing up now. Robson hung on a bit too long and Shepherd - as usual - messed the whole thing up. Robson had a long and glorious CV to his name when he joined NUFC....would you like to compare that to Mr A Pardew's, please...? I wasn't comparing them or their CV's, but the situation is similar ie people wanted shot of Robson very quickly, and without any thought about a replacement.
