Ba got 16 in 11/12, and 13 in the part of 12/13 before he was sold to Chelsea. Remy got 14 in 13/14, no one's got that high since.

I think Defoe is a good comparison, moocher with great runs and positioning, but it looks like he is better at getting his team mates involved. When the ball is actually in their half, that is.

One for the fascinating facts department, but all six goals of Wilson's goals so far have been in the second half. As a team, we are for 2 against 4 in the first half. After the break, it's for 8 against 7. You might as well tune in at half time.

Don’t see what the fuss is about with the penalty. He gets in front of the defender and gets kicked, it’s not one of these where the player drags a leg to make contact and falls over. Poor defending pure and simple.

His movement is what earned the pen, he was smart to put his leg Infront of the defender knowing he'd get a reaction out of him. Smart player. We've missed a proper striker big time.

And agree with the Defoe comparison around the 6-yard box. Haven’t seen the ‘one touch out of his feet then early shot’ that Defoe was class at from around the edge of the box yet, but he’s quality.

The fuss is the contact isn’t a foul and doesn’t prevent him doing anything he wanted to illegally. Free kicks and penalties should be given for fouls. Not contact. It’s a contact sport, or at least was. It’s been a slippery slope for years and now see it happening further up the body (Henderson for England against Belgium).

I find it quite sickening to watch all over the pitch these days. Possibly even more so with the silence in the grounds and fake screams of pain.

Was hoping VAR was going to stamp this out but it’s actually encouraged it oddly.

I think it oddly started when refs were told to manage games to avoid anything explosive building up so they keep killing the natural rhythm of games by giving free kicks for non fouls all over the pitch.

The fact Kane wasn’t booked for diving yesterday sums up where we are at in the game sadly. It’s horrible to watch.

I’ve played football loads and you try to poke the ball away and you make slight contact with your opponent but it’s not a foul. They still stand perfectly upright and carry on playing. Players are just throwing themselves to the ground these days at the slightest brush and it’s horrible to watch.

We are lucky to get him. Even with Rafa he could be some player this one.

Did you see Saha penalty, the guy brushed his sock and Saha screamed and threw himself down.  Difference between the two is massive.

No cheating from Wilson, just knows the rules......you can't be kicked from behind!

Love Wilson’s confidence.

He's more aggressive than I thought, which has been a welcome surprise. Has the lovely knack of being able to hold off much bigger centre backs and get long balls under some level of control too. Rondon was an absolute master at this but that was expected considering how much of a unit he is.

Wilson very much connected with Schar multiple times in the second half to get us up the pitch. Hold up play is perfectly fine imo.
