  1. Far too slow upstairs to be able to play anywhere away from wide areas where he has the time and space he needs to be able to see and execute event the most simplest of passes. The man has a built in 2 second lag. The passage of play today where he dribbled the ball 40/50 yards directly towards Miley who had overlapped wide was abysmal. He closed down Miley's time and space before nudging the ball poorly in his direction. Loads of other examples of tripe play. Felt like he gave the ball away the majority of times he got it.
  2. He does not do enough in general play and suffers all too frequently with lapses of concentration. His exceptional talent allows him to score high quality goals fairly regularly, but that isn't really going to be enough for a team to climb to the upper echelons. We need a striker who is going to both score goals and help us in defence and ball retention. Although, part of me wonders he is playing with an injury and that explains his inability to impose himself against any defender when challenging for the ball in the middle of the pitch.
  3. My interest in football has taken a big hit this season with the continued artificial constraints being put on our ability to grow. Having to sell Bruno to enable us to buy players and simultaneously being unable to improve the playing squad to the level which would match Bruno's ambitions just makes the entire sham seem pointless. I'm not super interested in sitting back and trying to take small chunks of pleasure from the heavily controlled product that is modern football.
  4. His first touch and technique is a real barrier to him being a genuine top level player. Absolutely rancid at key moments today.
  5. Gordon's touch is really poor. He's all sprints and effort.
  6. Why did that take so fucking long? Clear as day foul. Referee is a fumbling prick.
  7. What is there to debate? He rips his shirt off. This referee.
  8. He can add this to the time he literally threw the ball into the goal.
