He massively overstates how far along Homes England are, they're doing some preliminary site survey work and by the looks of things they're not even remotely close to submitting a planning application let alone taking a final investment decision to proceed. That said there is a planning application from 2018 that seems not be extant yet but still be some way to go to get to FID. Also fails to mention there's already a planning application for 397 dwellings on the helipad site that is expected to go to committee in April - submitted by "Marty" that he's spoken to! This will be a plan to increase the value of the land and then sell it most likely. I can't see the club going for this location, but all of the above can be overcome if they really wanted it and are willing to pay for it given how early in the development stage the other plans here are.
  3. That 10k figure is miles off. Peter Silverstone said approx 50k within 48 hours on a podcast and then at the event last week said less than half of Dortmund's numbers. So it's somewhere between 50k and 90k.
  4. Getting no joy at all on corporate / staff / player allocations at all. Have raised many times.
  5. Wasn't that long ago Chopra was asking the Trust to help his ridiculous takeover bid.

Agreed. Survey out to members today, goes wider in 48 hours. Then to club.
  7. I actually do build offshore wind farms now.
  8. It was. 8 devices in the queue and was actually my work phone that got me in early in the queue.
  9. That’s not really true btw - club said no chance and fewer than 15 people signed up when Trust asked for people to come forward. I was one of them, had approx 150 loyalty points. I now have 2.

This won't be happening on Weds - all pre-recorded to be used for marketing etc.

Yep - we are and will continue to do so. Meeting club next week - is on the agenda.

Think that comment was aimed more at the home crowd / global fan base. That said for Man United every single away game is a ballot - and they do it on levels. Gold, Silver etc. E.g. for their game at our place in December applications to the ballot will be open to Executive Club Members (so corporate), Season Ticket holders at Silver Level and above who purchased all home cup games in 2022/23. As far as I am aware their categories are based on how many years you've had your ST rather than away game attendance. The Man United system would be deeply unpopular here I think - that said at least they are transparent on how many applicants and what the allocation is etc.

They don't - the pre-select a small number in advance and inform they have to collect on the day. The whole cancelling random tickets is one of the worst ideas ever, it really is bonkers.

That's correct - but that was after the club had decided to implement a ticket check / ID policy. We didn't advocate for it or a specific process but noted we were aware of the Brighton policy - which given what the club have implemented would be far more preferable to the system they have put in place.
