I said it’s coming. He gets a pass back and just waits until the attacking player is right on before kicking it away all the time. He’s going to get caught out.

Yeah we had a good spell at the end of the 1st and a decent 10 minute spell around the time of the goal, apart from that it was fucking shit. Another 5 minutes and Villa would have won.

Think we lost our shape a bit due to all the subs. At 0-0 the Gayle/Carroll change made total sense, but once we went ahead I think we should have shored up the midfield a bit. Villa got far too much space and we were hanging on for dear life in the last 15 mins.
