Wembley is fucking shit though. The new Spurs stadium is an elite level stadium and everything Wembley if they insisted on building it, should have been. All Wembley has to offer is a bigger concourse to sell more overpriced food. It wasn’t even built to be the modern multi-purpose stadium it has become. Wembley is nothing more than a generic bowl flat pack stadium, with bigger stands, and a roof trust that is there for show.

Not exactly. We have enough hotel space, but not enough top end hotels. That will change soon though, there is a few planned, the most prominent one being on Pilgrim Street and being developed by the Reuben’s.

Some away teams won’t bring in a lot of fans, but if it’s a weekend fixture, we’ll always be able to get a bit more than most simply because a lot of them will want to make a weekend out of it. I want us to make a stand against the ESL cabal. I’d be happy for us to pay Dan’s contract out and let them go 2 years without him and move on, same with Arsenal’s interest in Bruno, and Isak. Fuck them, we shouldn’t sell to them. If any of the ESL cabal clubs are interested in them, then so will rich clubs outside of England, and we should not be selling to direct rivals. Arsenal, and Man Utd are clubs that we are looking to leapfrog, and for them to progress away from us, they either need our DOF, or our players, so no, fuck them. They can have our players off us when it’s us selling the likes of Nicky Butt.

This is an important point. Be it moving the stadium south a bit so we get more of the Strawberry land in, or it going to Castle Leazes, I do think we need a rebuild. The East stand alone is about 50 years old, and will be reaching the end of its life span soon in anyway, that is without acknowledging that it’s not fit for purpose anymore. We might not be on the same front print, maybe a couple of hundred yards up the road, but spiritually we are still there. Your pre/post match pub will still be the same. You will still have the same route to the ground. It will still be in city centre, although we might be directly above the Metro station, or further up through the fancy gates via Leazes Park.

The Bandstand area is listed, it would have to be just to the North of it, sections where Leazes Park isn’t listed.

If on option C of the rebuild, we moved just above the where the grandstand is, instead of on it, we would not be in where listed park zone is.

In regards to the Chelsea hotel. No one batted a fucking eye when Ashley sold off the Strawberry land to his parent in law at a reduced rate. Fuck the other clubs whinging, couldn’t give a fuck.
