Because we currently have Pardew? and he did a decent job at Palace, they were playing some decent stuff under him
He really didn't though, he played extremely restrictive football, I remember very vividly him shouting "Go on Cam, Go on Cam" as they punted long ball after long abll in direction of Cameron Jerome to try and make something out of it. If we had 7 games left and needed 10 points, sure hire Pulis and grind out some results with Riviere running his arse off into corners, but this change can be a positive change, finally a step in the right direction, sure the manager will get pissed over by Ashley, but we could finally get somebody who recognises the talents of players such as Marveaux, HBA and Mbwia. A coach that doesn't spend 4 days every week practicing defending, a coach that has a back room team of staff who think positiviely about the game and a coach that sets us up to go out and take teams on and beat them.
If we had Pulis then Gouffran would still be a wing back, we'd have some cunt from Stoke to replace Carver and we'd hear shouts of "Go on Manu, go on Manu"
No thanks.
