About LFEE

  1. Noted the club haven’t ruled him out of playing in Australia. EH asked in today’s press conference.
  2. Nope because I don’t think it’s anywhere near 20% so the extra 10% is just standing around arguing with refs and waiting around on VAR calls. I do think players not having full summers off isn’t helping as I’m not going to argue that they play too many matches each year. Just disagree the actual games are intense for 10-20% more and like I’ve said you can sub half an outfield team each game nowadays. Maybe it’s the long VAR delays and stop start nature of the games not helping 🤷🏼‍♂️
  3. The rule is still in place obviously but they aren’t sticking to it anymore most games. Don’t give me player health when you can have so many options on the bench and five substitutes generally being made per team each game. It’s just a more physical and faster game in England. Always has been. It’s quite striking how much so if you ever attend games abroad. Watched games in many European countries and most of them are like walking pace for the majority of the games with minimal contact allowed.
  4. Strange strip selection in the Villa game. Can hardly tell the difference between the two teams.
  5. The rules that lasted all but a month or two? I doubt it. What’s the games played comparison between the leagues including domestic cups? Guessing fairly similar between us and Spain?
  6. Think they have their eye on the Ipswich manager. Maybe though. Thought Man Utd might show interest in him.

    Alexander Isak

The way Arsenal play I’m not sure Isak would be that good a fit personally. Actually think Havertz is a better fit.
  8. Will be interesting to see what Potter’s next gig is. Especially after he turned down Ajax!
  9. If you ain’t sure then you are slightly naive to how he’d be treat by England fans and the press. Cant see anyone from the British Isles managing England. I could be wrong (and I’d like to think I was wrong) but just can’t see him being a popular choice for the main gig.
  10. Still think they could’ve let him return ready for the start of this season after Euros.
  11. This. And apparently he was asked if anything in the rumours and he said no he was happy then a few month later his response was a very unapologetic these things happen. Never been too enamoured with him prior to joining us and never felt a good fit. Hopefully gets sorted soon on our terms and we can all move on. Apparently his contract his very front loaded so if nothing else we are protected it seems.
  12. I know this is the general consensus of most and I don’t actually disagree with it I do think it gets forgotten about we lost Isak within 15mins and Joelinton also playing unfit after 65. Wilson misses a great chance and we hit the woodwork twice. Away from home we were depleted again yet if Joelinton puts a header away that he should’ve and our other great chance in the first half that would’ve been a different game also. If buts maybes I know but Dortmund played us at the right time and we had no rub of the green either night. Even our home crowds atmosphere was somewhat dampened with the incessant rain all day and night. Smaller margins than we probably remember.
  13. Usual plan… drinks post match and watch 17:30 game in Junction then meal 19:30/45 then drinks again. Those without match tickets I’d suggest trying to get into Shearers to watch the match on their screens…
