If that's what their players are worth, how much are the squads worth of the fifteen teams that finished above them? Are there really that many squads packed full of £10m+ players, all just bobbing around in the lower-mid championship waiting to be snatched up by PL teams? Or are they chatting absolute soil again, and would be lucky to shift half that dross for any money at all? One of those options is correct, but I guess it's a complete mystery which one it is...

Longstaff is fine. Decent player. Whatever your thoughts though, he's too good to be sold. We need to name 4 academy players in the squad for Europe, and there aren't 4 better than him. You can argue Miley and Anderson are 2, but I can't see 2 more. Until that time comes, he's not for sale and rightly so. Anyone thinking he might be off to raise funds is deluding themselves and needs to be prepared for disappointment.

Well it's pointless complaining about the past, it's already gone. Instead of complaining about it, maybe build yourself a time machine and go back 55 years and change stuff. Alternatively, live in the present and judge us on what we're doing now.

It's only great for the club if now there's less debt to repay, the Glazers now spend your extra income on players. However they'll probably just trouser it.
