Gary Mills and assistant Darren Caskey have been working hard in the transfer market and terms have been agreed with four new players. All four have Football League experience. Two are strikers and the other two defenders, a right-back and centre-half. Mills has also offered a contract to another striker, for whom he is waiting for an answer, and is on the lookout for a left-back. Experienced playmaker John Oster (pictured), fellow midfielder Rob Ramshaw and goalkeeper Alex Baird, meanwhile, will all be re-signing. Last season's leading scorer James Marwood was offered a new deal but, as reported on this site earlier, has signed for Scottish Premier League side St.Mirren. Marwood is the only player offered a new contract that has moved on. "Marwood did very well last season," said Mills. "There were a number of clubs after him and we wish him well over the border at St Mirren. "He was offered a new contract but decided to move on.
