  1. 3 wins leaves Chelsea needing 4 wins and a draw from 6 games, West Ham needing to win the last 4, Brighton to win 5 out of 6. Should be enough! 6th would be dreamy.
  2. Starting to get into "3 more wins should get Europe" territory now. Amazing achievement.
  3. Just back in from the Hebburn game. Just didn't fall for them. Hope they do it on Saturday.
  4. Yeah I think Poch will get it right. Think they'll be top 3/4 but think the whole thing is shite that Everton fuck up for a couple of years spending big and it's ruined them, the likes of Chelsea can do the same and they're fine.
  5. Aye, better to have an integration at Newcastle, play in a couple of pre-season games, play for the U21s, train with the first team squad, feel like a Newcastle player. Who knows, it might all just click. Worst case, we've got a better assessment on where he is and where next for him.
  6. I'd keep him half a season then send him out in January based on what we think after viewing him.
  7. Fwiw it's one I think should be classed as onside, but as the law stands, it's not. How isn't it the "other side of the coin" ? People were in uproar about VAR ruling out a goal on Sunday. Here's one where it would have done it's job and disallowed it correctly. As a result of this mistake, Leicester or Ipswich might miss out on Premier League football next season. I was at the Everton game last month, I celebrated the Burn "goal" in real time. I didn't stop celebrating at the time. Was gutted when it was ruled out, but fans can still have that moment.
  8. The flip side of the coin to yesterday. If Ipswich miss out on promotion by a point, that decision has done them. Least the Leeds fans got to celebrate in real time though!
  9. Boro had picked up 20 points from the top 6 going into this match. They really should have been up there.
  10. What a goalscorer man. Even in his later career at the likes of Blackburn, Fulham and City he was hitting 1 in 3.
  11. Can't say I've seen move of him but Kelly makes a lot of sense. Two CBs down for at least half a season so you'd think Burn will start as LCB, Kelly could push him for that slot but also play LB. 25/26 phase Burn out and keep Kelly in his role as number 2 LCB & LB while Botman is back and we buy another LB.
  12. Southgate just has shades of OGS to me. I could see him maybe doing okay but they'll not threaten the major trophies with him.
  13. Charlton definitely seem to have something over them when it comes to blowing promotion.
  14. You can't measure offsides like that with the naked eye either, but here we are with a law where things like that could be deemed as off and linesmen are meant to even look for offsides like it. Sooner we have the Wenger Law in at all levels, the better imo.
