We're going to end this season with Schar and Burn the only fit centre-backs (if we're lucky ) so can rule out Burn from the LB group next season. Numbers wise, Trippier, Krafth, Tino, Targett and Hall should be fine to cover the two full-back roles but I think quality wise we'd be lacking a little bit at left-back unless Targett regained his loan spell form. Could see Targett being shifted and an upgrade being brought in. That's what I'd be looking to do anyway.

If we were a few points closer to Spurs then I'd be more disappointed. Ultimately just get as high as we can. It'll be tough with Man U, West Ham and Chelsea in the race for the "minor" place/s depending on who win the cups but we can still get into Europe. Wouldn't surprise me if we see the 2 spots alternative quite a bit between the big 4 countries anyway. You'd expect 1-2 of the Italian and German clubs to struggle in the CL, while there'll be some fairly big English and Spanish clubs in the Europa and Conference League to pad out the co-efficient points for the 25/26 season, and so on...

I was 4-5 when he played for us and it wasn't until later in life I discovered we sang the word "fucking" in the chant, due to dad singing the words "and he is brill" around the house to avoid swearing in front of me as a kid.

Mixed results in the run-in but looks like they've settled just to get top 7 and go from there due to the fixture backlog. Heavy rotation just to get over the line but once the Play-Offs come they'll go full strength. They have a chance.

Add in the context of the fixture list in general around that time. I know we got thumped at the likes of Bournemouth, Spurs and Everton but to beat Chelsea and Man Utd and draw away to PSG with the squad we had is amazing looking back.

He's surely at the stage now where he should just hold his hands up, say he's been misguided/misinformed/wrong and try to save his career. Unless he's happy with this being his career now and leaching on this sort of person.
