  1. Good to see that the latest lever Barcelona pulled was for the UCL trapdoor… On a side note that ground holds little fear for opposition compared to the Nou Camp. They’ll be desperate to get back into it.
  2. If we sold for argument sake Wilson & Almiron for a total of approximately £30m. What does that then allow us to spend this coming season?
  3. The journalists have clearly been briefed this week. What do we all think the reasons are for that? What story are the club suppressing that the press have hold of? Or is it just to distract slightly from ticket price hikes?

  7. Still a good percentage. I counted 5 for the season which is what I was referring to.
  8. Heard that on a podcast. That and the pre-game press conference comments on player availability and in the warm up when a back four was lined up for the usual defence line/heading practice shows we are definitely becoming much cuter with team lineups.

    Alexander Isak

I see they’ve arrested four people connected to the break-in at his property… From the BBC, Monday: Four people have been charged in connection with a series of high-value burglaries which included the home of a Premier League footballer. The home of Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak in Darras Hall, Northumberland, was broken into and his car stolen earlier this month. Cash, thousands of pounds of designer clothes, and jewellery worth £1m was also taken from other homes in Sunderland and Newcastle. Det Insp Shaun Fordy, from the North East Regional Organised Crime Unit (NEROCU), said "these types of crimes will not be tolerated". Isak's home was broken into on 4 April but his car was later found abandoned three-miles away in Dissington, police said. Cash, expensive clothes and jewellery worth £1m were taken from a house on Clayton Road in Jesmond in March. Jewellery worth £100,000, designer clothes and money were also taken from a house on Woodlands Grove in Sunderland. Some of the property was later recovered by officers, NEROCU said. Four Croatian nationals, aged 23, 27, 31, and 42, who had recently travelled to the UK from Italy, were arrested on Friday in the West Midlands. They have been charged with burglary and are due to appear at Bedlington Magistrates' Court later. Det Insp Fordy said the arrests had been made by NEROCU working in partnership with Northumbria Police. “This operation demonstrates that these types of crimes will not be tolerated in our region, and the incredible lengths we will go to protect our communities," he said.
  10. Thinking about our situation I’m surprised they’ve not asked Sam Fender to do 3 nights one weekend at SJP before this years financial cut off point.
  11. Everton away. Luton away are two straight off top of my head. West Ham away also possibly and Bournemouth away. Not many though but he was right in saying he needed to contribute more away from home..
  12. Hardly the masses then but fair enough. I think a lot will have a chuckle at the prospect rather than the actual reality of it happening. I’m guessing the end game is the new ground is given to a finance company similar to Coventry situation and Everton will have to rent it.
  13. Who’s exactly getting excited about it?
  14. Dele on MNF. What a fall from grace. Is there a player in there that EH could extract something out of if no fee involved?
