  1. Wants to be near to wife and child and Milan is a hassle to get to from Newcastle. No issues really, he'll be happy to sit on the bench somewhere closer to Milan for a minimal fee im guessing.

Rashford is a complete and utter waste of time. Disgrace of a player

England have been shite like. If absolutely everything goes through Bellingham for the Euros, we'll come unstuck as the better teams will figure out a way to limit him, as good as he is. Feel like we're onto nothing with Southgate like. As soon as we come up against a decent side we're quite often rubbish

Really hope he starts Mainoo on Tuesday and he can force his way into the team. Can't be doing with Gallagher starting in the summer. Is Chilwell normally this shite too?

    Who's this on co Comms?
  6. PSG was the best and loudest ive ever heard SJP I think. That was this season and Ive been a frequent critic of the atmosphere in the ground. So it just goes to show.
  7. SJP could have the worlds best food/drink options and ill still prefer to be in the city centre before the match. Its absolutely unique in the UK that you can be in the city centre and then in your seat within half an hour and vice versa. Nowhere else ive been has the plethora of amenities a stones throw from the ground (aside from some London clubs perhaps) and frankly, other clubs matchdays look shite compared to ours. Taking trade away from businesses in the city to be absorbed by the club isnt actually a good thing for those of us that live here too. It was hinted that the takeover would be a positive for the local area, more people choosing to forgo food and drink in the city for more time in the concourse isnt conducive of that. A move away from the city centre would be the total opposite. Think some would do well to remember Newcastle United and its matchday revenue isnt the be and end all for the city and its people.
  8. 15M is about right Id say, no less but we'd struggle to get more tbh.
  9. More goals is good to a point. Celebrations are as such because there's not tonnes of goals though and when you do see your team score a glut, it seems special. You'd get less last minute late 1-0 winners aswell, which are special in their own right. Perfect the way it is imo.
  10. Do we actually need this though? This season in the PL is the highest scoring since 1964. There hasn't been any discourse about low scoring/overly defensive play for a while, even after the World Cup which had plenty of good games. The best teams play on the front foot at the minute. We're not in an era of Italian teams deploying catenaccio to bore everyone to death or Rafas Valencia winning the league with a top scorer or 7 goals. You're always going to get the odd turgid 0-0 but that's part of the game. With players playing more football and the increase in added time, I don't think we actually need more goals.
  11. Voted stay, but could be persuaded by plans for a city centre location. Arena site would be perfect (no inclination to find out whether thats even possible).
  12. Just fucking leave it alone man. Who watched Man Utd v Liverpool on Sunday and thought, you know what, we need to change this. We dont. The game itself is one of the only saving graces when it comes to football, almost everything else surrounding it has been ruined.
  13. The thing is, it's not just Everton and Forest is it. Leicester also had FFP issues which contributed to their relegation. Wolves were in trouble and we're one of the favourites for the drop this season - Lopetegui walked out before a ball was kicked. Aston Villa have recorded losses incompatible with PSR. Any ambitious club that tries to challenge the 'big six' finds themselves in bother with PSR. Then further up the league, nobody can touch City. It's only through Klopp, one of the best managers the league has ever seen that City haven't won about 7 in a row or whatever it is. Of course it suits most PL clubs as it makes it harder for smaller clubs to come up and establish themselves. Being on the PL gravy train trumps all for the likes of Palace and Brentford. The Premier League was built on a free market and you had more titles shared across clubs than any other major league. Financial restrictions based on income are no good for competition. La Liga is completely skewed towards Barca and Real in Spain and look how dull that is. PL fast becoming like the Bundesliga (save for this season), only even more dull with an established top 6 most seasons.
  14. Forest now docked now. League is a total joke
