  1. Man United did well last night but unfortunately for them Arsenals defence were superb and snuffed them out. If they play that well against us and with Fernandez back we will have a job on our hands
  2. Man United did okay really and managed to get beat
  3. To be honest I'm not too disappointed about the results yesterday. I don't really want us to play in the Europa conference thing because after the highs of last year and playing in the Champions League it would be a bit second rate. It involves a lot of games often against poor quality sides and I think it would be better to concentrate on the PL and maybe domestic cups. I'm not sure that there are big financial rewards either I can't see players being excited about playing in the Conference or players wanting to come here because we are playing in it. The Champions League is a different matter entirely and I'd like to see us focus on becoming a regular top 4 side
  4. Murphy was atrocious, again. A lot of the time he doesn't even look up before he crosses the ball, it's just hit and hope. Really needs to be moved on
  5. I remember when Rafa bought him and a lot of the Stoke players were saying how highly they rated him.
  6. Where was mad dog today?
  7. Southgate wasn't selected because he was good, it was because he was the opposite of big Sam and wouldn't muddy the waters
  8. Steve Cooper would be the best choice, the sooner the better and dispose of Southgate
  9. I just wish that Dubs came off his line quicker. He is so slow to read the situation sometimes
  10. I'm not convinced that we'll batter them. They have taken a few good teams to the wire recently so I'd be happy with a win without anxiety
  11. Tough game ahead. Palace have impressive under the new manager and are turning some good teams over. If we win this it will orgasmic
  12. Palmer is obviously a really good player but for some reason I can't put my finger on, I just dislike the guy. Just something about him makes me feel I'd like to give him a slap. I wonder if there is something deep rooted about him that Pep didn't like so he got rid. A bit like Jesus and Sterling, Pep saw them as no longer an asset
