  1. How revolting is Pulis man Maybe if you made the odd signing like Fletcher or Barry you would have avoided becoming a yo-yo club!
  2. Berahino has ruined his own career, I have doubts he will ever do much now, wasted too much time. We had already lost promising young players to Chelsea and Liverpool before Berahino, a stand needed to be made, if you sign a contract, expect to honour it. The Spurs offer was heavily staggered and not much better than what we got, trying to 'mend' Berahino was worth a go, but he likes the bright lights of Manchester too much, has weight issues, can not head a ball to save his life, Baggies fans are chuffed to bits.
  3. When young players get above themselves, its never going to be easy, I think we have handled it pretty well. How is Nile Ranger doing these days, what did you get for him?
  4. Not really good enough for the Albion, but would do a job in the second tier!
  5. What's with the Anguish? We complain when the big boys take all the good players are we complaining when the mid table sides take them too? I think its a good sides outside the top 4 - 6 are signing quality. It's just the way this forum operates pal. If Serie A/Bundesliga/La Liga was signing all these good players for midtable clubs, this forum would be jobbing one off at how amazing those leagues were going to be, whilst at the same time slagging off English football for being so far behind. Because its England thats signing these players at midtable clubs, its all of a sudden heinous, disgusting, awful for the Champions League (although I'm pretty sure if a CL club was in for these players, they would go there, so it tells its own story) and every other which way you want to negatively comment on it. Quite frankly its a sinister state of affairs when people can be that self loathing over their own country, whilst actively obsessing over a nation that promulgates rampant and offensive patriotism (USA), but each to their own. I'm sure no matter how many good players the mid table clubs sign, they will be referring to them as "dross" after about 3 weeks into the season. I haven't seen Rondon play much in club football for ages so can't comment on his circumstances but in general I think its a bad thing that players are moving from historically big clubs to play for bad teams either fighting relegation or trying to get midtable in the Premier League. In our own club here, we've been basically s*** for ten years and we've been able to get the best players from clubs such as PSV and Ajax who in the past were European powerhouses but due to not having enough money they'll never have a chance of winning or competing in Europe again unless they get a sheikh to take them over. The same with teams like Marseille who have lost two of their best players to West Ham and Swansea this season. I could have sworn we last returned to the Premier League with Newcastle, founder member of the football league, football manager has a lot to answer for! #Deluded.
  6. Hi Toon fans, watched your season with interest, your recent death plunge should mean 3 points for us, but, that probably means you team will skip around our beach towels and ease your worries, very hard one to call, good luck after Saturday.
  7. I see that both sets of fans will be suppoting and applauding on 9 mins (Justice for Jeff), and 17 mins (Tragic loss of Newcastle fans) tomorrow.
  8. A few weeks ago, I would have predicted a win for us, I still have but now I'm far less certain, you seem to have found a little form, what's changed?
  9. Good luck against the Vile, hope you get seal park moaning.
  10. Because they need to get maximum bang for their buck when they operate within budget and without debt. I have seen plenty of moaning on here about not making signings worthy of Newcastle United.
  11. Wow what a s*** signing I bet he does better than van Wolfswinkle, as a free, I think its good business.
  12. Awful news, thoughts with their families, should not happen to people just going for a good time following their team.
  13. To be honest, its a passionate game, without the passion, what's left? Yes he has been foolish but which one of us has not, no need for some way over the top punishment like Savage is suggesting.
  14. He should have done the Quenelle instead!
