As Beans says, I think if you've got the patience for it it could be interesting but you have to treat it like a stock market; either try for some quick asset flips or sit back for months or even years to see true changes in value. I slapped a couple of hundred in around September/October last year, got bored of it and withdrew November, breaking even unsurprisingly. In the year since, I think like 5 of the 15 players I'd 'invested' in have gotten moves to bigger clubs, in turn bumping their value.

The whole dividends thing seems bollocks to me in that you don't get much value so I feel like you just need to take a plunge on some youngsters and hope they pan out. I keep wondering if the player prices will plateau at some point, which I guess will come if the amount of money being pumped in slows up at any point, but player values are still rising it seems.

Anyone given Football Index a go?

I did when it first launched - I used it for a few weeks but found it quite boring, if I’m honest.

The loss/win changes so infrequently and by so little, it’s like placing bets which take 6 months to settle.

I’ve been meaning to give it another go to see if it’s changed but haven’t got round to it.

I did it and stuck with it for a while (the changes did get more frequent btw) but overall don't rate it.

The dividend's are a waste of time as you're making less than pennies on the pound.

They also have a rule where there is a maximum amount of time you can hold an asset (I think 36 months but may be wrong) so if you bought some young FM wonderkid at 19 but he has an injury and then a loan period before coming back to his parent club and building his career, you may end up down having been forced to sell him at the 36 month point before he goes on to be a superstar.

They make huge commissions when you sell the assets too.

It all felt like a bit of a con to me but I closed out at about £500 profit.

Wouldn't do it again.

Evens for over 2.5 goals is very generous at Peterborough. Fleetwood are the best team in the country for goals at the moment.

Wullie[/member] certainly banged it for me.
