Special victory?

They were playing a mid table 3rd division side , with a fan base that hate their new manager, hate the owners, hate the players.

I’d say they let them off without a  hiding.

Ipswich will go up, Peterborough’s front three of Eisa, Maddison & Toney probably wouldn’t look out of place mid-table in the Championship. Oxford seem to have goals in them as well, think they’ll be relying on the Play-Offs at best.

Oh without a doubt, they have no chance of automatic promotion.

The stupid fuckers will give it a good go in the lower league trophy competition again, it was their undoing last year the cups, crack on again lads.

We should probably thank Agent Pardew for where they are now by the way. Had he not been so shit at derbies, they’d have probably been relegated 2-3 years earlier when they should have been. They wouldn’t have continued to throw money at shite and might have been in a much better position to compete for promotion back to the Premier League within a year or so.

Nice one, Al.

Mackem friend at work (I know, play on the old mag at work), cracking lad and we are very honest about our football.....

"You have to remember we are now a league one team.....

Not just a league one team but an average one

Not just an average league one team but one that loses at Wycombe.....

Not just an average league one side that loses at Wycombe but one that went there as underdogs"

Are most of the players who’d normally be playing for the youth teams when they were higher up the league ladder now in the first-team which is an impact? So effectively a reserve u23 team? No idea how many kids they’ve got in their first team squad.

Just Hume, who they hate, and Embelton.

Speaking about his appointment, Gus Poyet says: ‘I was taken to Sunderland to avoid relegation and to beat Newcastle. Those were the objectives. We avoided relegation, and we beat Newcastle’

Such high targets.
