  1. I don't think their two wins means a whole lot. Palace are a team that never really finds any form, they could win two and go winless for about four quite easily. We need to play with confidence and not like we did in that first half against Fulham. Isak, Barnes and Gordon on fire will mean goals for us.
  2. Muppet. Best thing I can say is this will obviously fail and I can't wait to see it. He looked firmly in the Glazers pocket today during that game. Total PR exercise this.
  3. If Man Utd win it they have to finish 6th for 7th to be Europe. Although if they finished 7th you’d like to think we’d be 6th anyway so it wouldn’t matter, but 6th would be Conference League. City winning it makes 6th Europa League and 7th Conference.
  4. Would love us to go for a couple of big WSL names.
  5. Win during the week and top 7 should be locked in you’d have thought. Two games in hand on West Ham at the minute and Chelsea have terrible fixtures.

Option C is far and away the best option imo. Upgrading the stadium isn’t just about increasing capacity, it’s the whole package and a new stadium lets us do whatever we want. Part of option C is built on the SJP footprint so it’s basically in the same location. Seems perfect.

  8. How have Italy done so well in getting the extra spot? Just their progress in the Europa League? They have 1 team in the quarters of the Conference and none in the quarters of the Champions League, which should surely count for much more than the other two competitions. England had 5 teams reach the quarters across all competitions and may yet have 3 in the semis depending on results later today but are pretty much out of the running now? I genuinely wouldn't count Liverpool out by the way. Where does it stand if Liverpool and Villa go through?
  9. Yeah I posted the tweet a couple of posts up there. The man is a complete bullshit merchant.
  10. Yep. This Joel Bland is obviously the biggest joker on Twitter for NUFC news is he?
  11. Yeah I knew it was bullshit at the time. Must go back and see if I can find it.
  12. Pretty sure I read on here at the time of his injury that he was done with NUFC and was making absolutely no effort to get himself fit again. Glad to see him back, this is a huge boost for our European push.
  13. Love Rafa. I really enjoyed that period with the club and fell back in love with it again, which amazes me when I remember Ashley was still here at the time because thinking back you'd be forgiven if you forgot that he was. Its such a shame he left and was followed by Steve Bruce who if I remember correctly made several sly digs at Rafa at the start of his time here, such is the nature of that complete tosser. Hope Rafa has a great day and comes back to SJP to see a game again soon.
  14. I think that was just for our results, so two draws and a win. You get a lump sum of about €15m for qualifying for the groups I think. Then there is the added match day revenue.
  15. This result doesn't bother me in terms of Chelsea getting points. They're at home to Everton, it was likely anyway. The biggest annoyance I have is that we didn't blow Everton away ourselves a couple of weeks ago. Chelsea have brutal fixtures including away to Villa and Arsenal in their next two followed by Spurs and West Ham at home, they'll drop points.
