  1. Not sure if this is sincere or not but I genuinely given them credit. The premier league has turned a football competition into a game of accounting. If they want it to be a game of accounting then this is the inevitable outcome. The premier league invented the game, Chelsea are just playing it.
  2. Ollie Watkins that an outrageous finish. Cantona-esque
  3. Longstaff gets his pocket picked at least 5 times a game and on nearly all occasions they lead to a potential break away goal to the opposition
  4. We must be tracking one of the lowest pass completion rates on record at this point.
  5. For 3rd, I think Tino has to drop deeper in that situation and use the other covering defender to take care of the ball carrier.
  6. My experience of goalkeeping is limited to a 5 minute stint during a weekly five a side, where I make token efforts to save shots, with the hope that my stint will end early if I make zero effort. At the risk of being harsh to Dubs it sometimes feels that he is adopting the same strategy. Just doesn't save anything.
  7. Their defence makes perfect sense. FFP is counterintuitive. It forces decisions that make no commercial sense. It is a tail that wags the dog. Clubs are incentivised to sell young homegrown stars to rivals, They are incentivised to leverage the balance sheet and redevelop a stadium. They are incentivised to sell on the cheap so that the 'profit on disposal' falls into a particular three-year accounting window.
  8. Such an utterly pointless match. We cannot compete with them.
  9. The passage of play before the goal was comical. Almiron passing it to Chelsea under no pressure, about 5 missed clearances, Burn slicing it into row z. This season man 😂
  10. Neville talks about the mess in build up totally ignoring a wonderful piece of work from Bruno that takes out multiple Chelsea players
  11. Longstaff doing his laces whilst we are in a promising position.
  12. Likewise I was in stitches thinking this was a beautifully written piece of satire.
  13. Commentators willing a penalty for something fairly innocuous, just for the sake of adding some controversy and post match discussion.
  14. Sample size is low but convinced this bloke is going to be a baller.
