  1. Don't know what the hell they are writing about. For a start Ben Arfa started the game at Norwich away last season and did not come off the bench at all.

Interesting comment in the .com match report for the Spurs game... "That meant that a fit-again Fabricio Coloccini was benched in favour of retaining the central defensive partnership of Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Mike Williamson. Meanwhile the 4-4-2 lineup apparently favoured within the dressing room was retained Shola Ameobi continuing up top alongside Remy in preference to Papiss Cisse or Hatem Ben Arfa, who were among the subs." Not sure what that's based on - but suggesting players as well as Pardew prefer 442. Just thought it was interesting based on the slagging I often give Pardew for always reverting to 442.

Genuinely pathetic. Get this cowardly idiot out now.
  4. Genuinely unbelievable bilge from Townsend, could easily have been a straight red.
  5. Ian Harte was being outpaced by Nol Solano 10 years ago - God knows how he's still a Premier League player.
  6. Is it illegal for us to play free-kick short? Hoofed into box no matter the circumstances. Reprehensibly shit.
  7. Only a 1 year visa for Tiote then. Obviously expecting to have sold him by now.
  8. Like it or not Jonas is just not the type of winger who is going to get to the byline and whip crosses into the box. He needs players to come short looking for the ball into feet. Yet time and time and time again no one gives him the option. Jonas' link up play with Enrique shows what an asset he can be when he has someone to link up with. Other players need to help him out and look for a close pass into feet (hopefully Ben Arfa should help in this respect). Given our squad as it stands at the moment anyone who thinks we are a better team without him is plain wrong imho.
  9. What on earth are those red splodges supposed to be?
